Hey girls!

I just haven' been on due to a lot of crap that is going on at home. Nothing bad, just too much stress.

I've been thinking about you all though!

Amiee -- email me if you get the chance!

You know, before I got to that last sentence, I was actually thinking to myself: "Oh, it's so sweet how everyone gives a personal comment...it's such a boost!"

So you see, in my opinion, you are GREAT at the personal stuff

Good evening ladies!

Sandy - Schilling is not injured, or at least if he is, they are not reporting it. He just had a really, really bad night. But in usual Schilling fashion, he took complete blame for everything that went wrong (whether it was pitching, fielding, or batting ) He will beat himself up for the next five days (well, 6 really since today is an off day), pore over his countless notebooks, and watch hours of tape I am sure. If nothing else, the man is SERIOUS about pitching and playing well.

Catherine - A Yankees fan, huh? I had no idea How do you feel about Roger returning? I have to say that Roger pitching and Tony Pena catching was one of my all time favorite combinations of Sox players. However, Roger's whole "I want to go home to Texas" via Toronto, via New York was pathetic. You know us Red Sox fans - we can hold a grudge FOREVER!

Kayley - cute car! I think I can see a difference in your face too, from some of the other pictures you had posted! You are doing great!

Meta - your posts cracked me up today! "Kookaid" and the line about gay hairdressers laying it on thick had me Thanks too for posting the BMI info. I had been looking for a chart like that - now I'm almost sorry I found it! But, it gives me even more of a reason to work toward goal.

to all you other lovelies!

Today was an odd day for me. I snapped at Tim because as I was on my way out the door I said "I have dishes to put away" and when I got back, he hadn't done them. Apparently he missed the class on women's code where they learn "I have dishes to put away" REALLY means "Could you please put the dishes away?" I really don't snap at things like that usually but TOM is due in a few days, so I'm going to chalk it up to PMS. Nothing a 100 calorie Hershey snack probably wouldn't cure! Tomorrow is WI for me, so hopefully my impending TOM won't mess with it too much!

I hope you all had great op days!!

Cris

Hello ladies! I didn't get a chance to log on yesterday, busy busy. DH and I went swimming yesterday and again today, so fun! I really need to get that new suit so I won't be so self conscious (or lose down to my current one, but that may take a while). I'm also really excited for our anniversary. It's very soon, I can't believe it's been 1 year already! It totally flew by. Anywho, feeling good for my weigh in tomorrow. We had pizza the the other day and that messed me up a little bit (bread is my nemesis) but I'm back on track. I better go update my exercise min. Ciao, ladies!

Good Evening Ladies!

Ok...today was such a crappy day that I just want to curl up and forget it ever happened. First, I was going to wear some new sandals to work, but when I went to fix my hair in the bathroom, which has ceramic tile...yep, you guessed it...I almost did a split...but ended up landing on my knee and slammed my hand into the wall In our family we call this "having a vision"...we have all had many!
Then after that humiliation...Doug was home and I hate when I do dumb things around him, although he is SOOOOOOOO used to it by now...I finally left, and as I am driving to work, I was thinking, wow, everything is so bright but blurry today. I almost got there when I caught myself in the rearview mirror...I left my glasses in the bathroom!!! After I signed in I went to reveal more humiliation to my husband, and of course my cell phone dies in the middle. He was kind enought to bring them to school for me...and of course the parting statement after the usual shake of his head, was "be careful not to fall again".
At least I keep life interesting. You never know WHAT is going to happen when I am around!!
Oh yeah...and to add more insult to injury...for my WI I have fricken gained 2 lbs!!! What the heck is going on???????????? I didn't use the minivan on it, but I really almost threw it out the back door!

Sorry no personals tonight...I love you all, and to all you lucky loosers...I will try not to be too jealous!

Sleep tight!

Catherine, I totally understand, I was totally playin. Except I really do have a friend in NYC who loves the Yankees. She sent me a Yankee mouse pad as a present.

Cris, Thanks for the up date on Schilling. I do appreciate it when a player takes their job seriously. .... for our honey moon Andy and I went to see the Red Sox and White Sox in Chicago. We stayed at the same hotel as the Sox. They got pounded and we didn't get to see Roger play. Andy did get to have the nicest conversation with Tony Pena. I remember him from the Cardinals. Andre Dawson was still with the Red Sox then. I couldn't believe how tall he is. Scott Cooper played 3rd back then and he was a mean, rude jerk. Andy loved talking to the White Sox announcer who used to catch for the Red Sox way back. I can't remember his real name, but Andy called him Hawk. I gotta tell ya, if the Red Sox would have won, I'd a had a wonderful honeymoon. But they lost the 2 games we saw and my honeymoon was ruined. I've hated the White Sox since. (doesn't help that I'm a born Cub fan.)

Kayley, I forgot to congratulate you on your new car. My Oklahoma City daughter has one. She loves it. I think hers is an 2004. Be sure to wave at me if you pass Lafayette on your way to Noblesville.

I am pretty much op today, but today has been the most challenging day in the past several weeks. I haven't had tom for 2 months, so maybe I'm gonna get it. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Til tomorrow.

Well, ladies, I didn't get quite as much done today as I would have hoped, but tomorrow, I definately have to get a lot done! I have a meeting with my advisor at school...I've decided I'm going to skip the Associate's degree, and I'm just going to go head first, and get my Bachelor's in Criminal Justice. That means about 3 more years of college...I've already been in college for 2 years, so that's a bit BLAH to me, but it'll be worth it in the long run. It also means that Andrew & I won't be getting married any time soon! LOL! Just gives me more time to look HOT in my dress, right?! Hehehe. Anyhow, I've got to register for my summer class, and then use their printer to get all my Mapquest directions, and the hotel confirmation all printed out...we haven't yet bought a printer for this computer. Then, I've got to come back here, do laundry, pick up the apartment, wash dishes, vacuum, and get our snacks for the road all packed up for Saturday morning. Then gym in the evening, and getting groceries before that. Whew! I'll be running around a LOT tomorrow, but I'll try and pop in, so I don't get TOO far behind!

Erika – I hope whatever’s going on in your life settles down a bit. Stress is never good on the ol’ body!

Cris – I think it’s just my clever use of angles that fools you! Lol….although, I hope my face is looking a little thinner. I hate the fat on my face, and think it makes me look sloppy and droopy. Blah. But thank you anyhow! I think all men are that way. I looked at Andrew, and said, “man, look at how many dishes I’ve got to do”. He said, “yep”, and went back to watching TV. I was NOT amused….lol.

Scarlett – Happy Anniversary!!!! I love to swim. It totally does NOT feel like exercise to me at all, which you gotta love. Heh. It’s just shopping for the elusive suit that I hate! GOOD LUCK ON THE WEIGH IN TOMORROW!!!

Donna – Man oh man, do I hate days like that! I hope tomorrow proves to be a little better for you…and don’t worry about the WI. I’m sure it was just water or something else evil like that. You’re doing well, nothing to worry about! PS, I am the BIGGEST klutz on the FACE of the planet. I got over that whole not wanting to embaress myself in front of my fiancé about 2 months after we started dating, because I knew it was inevitable! LOL!

Sandy – I’ll do a little honk for ya!

And Catherine, I will TRY not to hold being a Yankee fan against you!

Well, my super busy day has begun! It began with Andrew waking me up, telling me I'd have to drive him to his doctor's appointment, because he couldn't find his keys! BAH! We looked everywhere, and then I told him I'd go look in my car, since we took it to the gym last night, and he had his keys on him. I opened up our front door, and low and behold, his keys were IN THE DOOR! Luckily, we live in a pretty safe building! We were both VERY tired last night, so we both overlooked it! LOL! At least he found his keys though, and I didn't have to drive him to his appointment, 30 mins away. I'm going to tackle these dishes, have some breakfast, and then go to the meeting with my advisor at 11am. Have a GREAT Friday, ladies!

Scarlett - CONGRATS on the -4.5 lbs!! That's fantastic!!!

Hey guys - Just popping in so you'll know I'm alive.

It's been a heck of a week. Three memorial services to attend. Two days of training. And a friends teen daughter's suicide attempt to help her deal with. I'm beat, food has been frankly HORRRIBLE, little exercise, and to be honest I didn't care. Finally Wednesday's WI showed me SIX lbs UP! As I KNOW there is no way I ate an extra 21,000 calories last week since that was before the stress eating started, I'm ticked off, but otherwise unconcerned.

And now I'm off on vacation for a weekend camping trip and don't know whether to be happy or sad about that, because I really want to just crawl in bed and not get out until Tuesday!

I'll try to post more next week.

What happened to the sliders btw? I just see the dreaded red x!

Good morning ladies!

Just a quick post...been busy already today! Done the trash, been to the redemption center and the grocery store. Wanted to get out early because it's supposed to be hot here today...plus the grocery store is always crazy before holidays.

So...weigh in this morning...down 5.2 pounds! That is my biggest loss since week one, but I know that was mostly water weight and I'll never lose that amount again. So, I am offically below 300, and earned my second for another 10 pounds lost!

Hope you all have a great op day!

Cris, on your loss! That's so cool! I'm very happy for you being in two town.

Lilion, Big, big to you and your friends. You've certainly had a rough week. Sometimes the scales is just weird. Hang in there, Honey.

Brenda, I'm so jealous. Your on summer vacation. Enjoy!

Scarlett Good job!

It's cool and rainy here today. It was wonderful out yesterday. Upper 80's, windy, sunny. It was awesome. And we do need the rain desperately. So the dreariness of the day is getting to me.
I think I'm gonna clean a couple windows, grab some lunch and take a nap. In fact, I can't promise any windows will get done today. Today is just not a good day. I'm more surgery sore today than yesterday and the pain makes me tired. Combine that with the dreariness .... and it's a sleepy day. Maybe a hot cup of coffee will perk me up. Til later.
