I know there is only 3 days left in May but I'm restarting my weight loss today and I don't want to wait until June to start weighing daily. Ever since my cruise vacation in December, I've had really bad eating habits. I'll watch what I eat for a few days here and there but not for very long. Before I know it, I'm back eating like a pig. Two years ago, I worked hard and lost 30 lbs over 18 months. I then hit a plateau and maintained for a while. This year I've gained it all back and more in just a few short months. My clothes are very uncomfortable, some don't even fit anymore, and I don't feel good about myself. Last week, I ran into my cousin who I haven't seen in over a year and I was so embarrassed that I wanted to hide.
Right now, I would just be happy if I could get back into onderland. In order to lose this weight, I'm going to do what worked before - count calories - 1300 a day - and 30 minutes of cardio a day. There is one thing I'm doing differently this time and that's counting macros. I want to make sure I'm not eating too many carbs and that I'm getting enough protein. I already created my menu plan for tomorrow and I'm planning on getting up early to get in my workout - no excuses. I hope I can stick to this plan for longer than just a few days this time.

I'm very happy with my loss for the month. I actually wasn't expecting to lose anything in 3 days but losing almost 4 lbs is amazing. Hopefully it sticks and I can lose even more in June.
