Welcome back Ellie. Sorry I am so slow this week. Sorry to hear about problems with your ex. Hope you can get it worked out. Thanks for the info on the SF stuff. That would explain the explosive problems that have been happening at my house!!
Rabbit: Why do you love Wednesdays? Is it because it means the week is almost over? That's how I look at them. Hope WW scale is nicer to you than yours!!
RR: Sorry about the sick baby. Surely walking the floor with her is worth some workout points!!
Lauren: AWWW, what a cool DH. I'm just trying to get mine to remember to bring dogfood home!! I can't lift the huge bags right now.
I haven't slept in the past three nights. I feel like a zombie. Hope I haven't left anyone out. Please forgive me if I did. Hope everyone is having a great day.
I am soo busy lately...darn this work for getting in the way of my computer time!!
I have been able to wear my "skinny" pants the past two days!! I'm very excited about that. I haven't worn them in a long time. Probably since at least Fall 2001! DH saw me zipping them up this AM and commented, "Wow, you are looking thinner!" That felt really nice to hear. I'm feeling really motivated these days!!
Karen, hope you get some sleep! It's hard, if you have a recliner, try sleeping there.
Rabbit, good luck at WI tonight!
Ellie, good luck with the X.
RR, good for you getting the water in! I have been doing much better too. I drink almost 96 oz. at work, and then probably another 32 at home through the evening and night. I always know I've got enough water in me when I'm constantly in the bathroom!
This weekend is my last Mom's Weekend at ds' college! Hard to believe. I do not know where the 4 years went.
Scales were friendlier this morning!
Karen - Mondays & Tuesdays are always totally crazy days for me and I'm running around like crazy. Wednesdays I usually have no place I have to go, no classes, no nothing, so I can stay home and get something done. And so I love Wednesdays. ~ Hope you are able to get some sleep.
Lauren - you sound really "up". That is great! Nice comment from dh & congrats on the skinny pants.
I am wearing a pair of capri pants that I have not been able to fit into since last summer What a way to start the day! I have an afternoon appointment with DD at the Gym. She is having an orientation so she can use the gym while I am there. It will be good for both us I am really looking forward to the weekend, only one more day.
LBH - Way to go on the skinny pants I really hate when work interferes with my computer time too
Thanks for the sleep wishes!! It helped. I finally got some last night and I felt SO much better today. I only have one more week left at work. I'm off tomorrow for a test.
Lauren and Ellie: Yeah on the SKINNY pants!! Yahoo!! I'm ready to fit into some smaller pants!! Hopefully in a few weeks I will. I think I gained 3 pounds over the past three weeks though. I'm not going to stress about it!!
Rabbit: Wow, last Mother's Weekend. Has DS decided on a law school yet?
Can't believe I haven't posted all week. I've stopped in and thought I'd posted....Hmm sure hope I'm not turning into my mother .
Anyway....Went to WW on Tuesday lost that pound I'd found last time. Was hoping for better but I'll take it. Had stomach flu (?) on Wed. so I didn't eat and yesterday was so-so. Need to get back on track. On a good note the weather's getting nicer so hopefully we'll walk outside tonight. So much better than a tape.
Ellie & LBH - Yea on the skinny pants!!!!
RR - Hope the baby's feeling better. Good luck getting to the gym.
Rabbit - Enjoy your weekend at ds's school .
Karen - Glad to hear you slept better. If it's you're last week of work you must be getting close. Good luck!!
Liz - Hope you're hanging in there.
Well I just checked back and guess I did post on Monday. I love spring, I love spring,...If I say it enough will I be able to ignore my allergies?????
Please keep my Gran in your prayers today. She is having surgery at 11:00 am to remove part of a cyst in her Pancreas. They will not know if it's cancer until they get in there. She's 88 years old, and although the cardiologist cleared her for the surgery, she does not have a good history of good experiences with illness/hospitals. My Gramps is 91 and I'm not sure what they would do without each other.
Thank you everyone who prayed for Gran. I just talked to my mom and she said the surgery went great. It was done in 35 minutes instead of 1 1/2 hrs., and it looks benign. They sent the fluid out to be biopsied (sp?). They medicated her and it finally kicked in and she's catching flies now! They will probably be moving her to a regular floor, instead of ICU also. We'll be able to go see her tomorrow.
Lauren: I'm glad your grandma came through surgery OK. I'll keep her in my prayers.
Tech: I know what you mean about allergies. That week it was so pretty here we had the windows open and I'm still paying for it. I have to take Sudafed everynight or I can't breathe. I'm tired of the rain and snow. There doesn't seem to be any end in sight to the gray weather around here. Sigh.
Rabbit: OK, I know I'm going to show my ignorance here. Georgetown in Washington, DC? That's only four hours from here. If he goes there and you come here to visit him we will have to meet you!!
GOod MOrning!!!! I am up to eat breakfast and be at the gym for 8am when it opens!!!! I am starting this weekend right!!!!
