  • I love chicken tacos AND cabbage... hhm.. lol....

    And dinner tonight will be for me only, as we are going to DH's parents to "see" his... not-so-nice-ever grandmother. SO, since they are having something they call 'spaghetti stirfry' I'll be bringing my own food. So this stirfry is spaghetti, with strips of chicken thats been pan fried in olive oil, with a bag of frozen asiany style vegetables and a WHOLE BOTTLE OF ITALIAN DRESSING. Yes. I'm serious. And its not super awesome tasty italian dressing, its the $1 kind, the cheap stuff.. ICKY. One of the first times I went there with my DH before he was even my DH they made this and I have this image of my MIL squirting the whole bottle into the pasta pot. I'm just horrified all over.

    ANYways.. I'll be taking a chicken boob marinated in something, with some leftover zucchini "lasagna". I'll be eating a salad before I go, too.. SIGH.

    Not looking forward to tonight at all, lol..

    This made me DIE laughing. And that spaghetti stir fry sounds not so good.

  • Hey I made turkey meatballs
    16 oz lean ground turkey
    3 grated carrots
    1/2 cup sweet corns
    1/3 cup sweet peas
    Cilantro
    1 medium diced onion
    4 pods of garlic
    Ginger to taste
    Salt
    Tomato ketchup
    Mix together make balls and bake at 450 for 40 minutes.
    It was delicious, feeling and hardly any calories.
    For my 2 oz meat balls, I booked 25 calories.
    Can you pl tell me is it correct?
    I made avocado salad with it.
    I diced avocado
    1 onion chopped
    1/2 big tomato chopped
    1/2 cup plain low fat yogurt
    Salt
    Sugar 1/2 tsp
    I took 1/3 cup salad and booked 80 calories
    Can you pl help me with this calorie thing?

    1 egg
    Grated cheese
  • I would like to report that the pepper steak recipe I made from Skinny taste is AMAZING! It was so delicious and FULL of flavor.

    That is all.

    Oh wait, and tonight will be something on the grill, maybe chicken and asparagus
  • I made seat of my pants stirfry tonight. Lime EVOO, garlic, ginger, peppers & onions, asparagus, bamboo shoots, green chili paste, soy sauce, a squirt of sriacha, lemongrass basil white balsamic, and shrimp. Yummy!
  • Steak Rolls with Asparagus
    Heat up pan with olive oil or or PAM spray.

    Add in 4 slices of that very thin sliced steak.
    cook 3-4 minutes on each side.
    At same time add your aspargus.
    Sprinkle with your favorite herbs, spices, etc.

    Remove both and put aspargus inside steaks and rollup. Add a dollup of sour cream for inside or on the side for a bit of tang.

    Makes 4 - around 300 calories/6 carbs

    On the side add a light salad tossed with with tomaters and your favorite low cal dressing.

    I heart my crock pot. Tonight it's got a couple pork chops in it with sauerkraut, fresh green beans, honey-ginger white balsamic, garlic, onion, and a splash of worcestershire.

    And Riddy, do you find the crock pot to help the texture of pork chops? I'm not a pork fan, but DH loooooves pork, so I'd like to make them more often. I'm just leery... lol.
