Kawaii Yay for getting ready to get back to work - that must be good to be looking forward to getting back into a routine. Silly cravings. I have resisted the fries all week but fries are like.. a constant craving for me. I will definitely have some form of takeout tonight, so I'm just trying to decide what it will be haha. Haha, I know four nights without him is nothing, it's just weird when he's there everynight (since we live together) and then all of a sudden he's not. I have to say I kind of sleep better when he's not there though - I take up the whole bed. Woooo with the workouts and eating! And I think you should give running a try, maybe you'll be surprised like I was! I said I'd never run and now I love it. Just get yourself a decent sports bra to strap those boobies up and give it a go!

Namaste Ugh all the meds stuff sounds horrible, but hopefully sounds like you have something sorted or at least a bit more stable? Good on you for being at your lowest weight. Glad to hear you and yours are ok after storms!

sun Definitely got my chill time in last night after my run and dinner - watched three downloaded tv shows and had an icecream, and then went to sleep early (for me). Congrats on your 2lb drop! Awesome stuff! Sounds like the new routine of morning running could be a good one for you - let us know how it goes!!

~Another drop, wow this is weird. Wondering if it's to do with my period or something. 62.9kg! So happy with this.

Run last night was great, as mentioned in my last post. Loved my down time too, and nice to have some time without the bf, even if I do miss him, I kind of sleep better without him there sometimes! More room to stretch out!

Planning what to eat tonight (won't be cooking) and what to do and whether I should go out!

Stripe – Congrats on the weigh in(s)! Yay! 4 nights without the bf? Hmm… Sounds like a girls’ night out may be in order! If I had 4 nights without my DH and DS I’d probably go crazy doing girly stuff like shopping, wine, dumb chick flicks, and some papering spa treatments with my best friend! At least for the first two nights. Then I’d probably start missing them big time. Whatever you do, have fun

Kawaii – Hooray for work! I did some substitute teaching a while back; middle schoolers are tough! But not nearly as bad as high schoolers. *Shudder* Good job on your no scale challenge! Couch to 5K? That sounds like fun. Like I’ve said before, I really struggle with running but I’d love to be able to do something like that. It might be fun to have a race date as a motivator.

Namaste – I do take LO out for walks when the weather is nice and it feels great to stretch my legs, but I’d like to do something a little higher intensity. I really want to feel the burn you know? But not so much that I can’t breath, LOL. How was the yoga session this morning? Did you like it?

Sun – Woo hoo on the 2 pound drop! Nice! And great job on that morning run. The 160’s are just around the corner

So my mom finally made it here last night, safe and sound. We haven’t done anything fun yet, but tomorrow is DS’s regular swimming lesson so she’s going to come along and watch. DS is teething, and he’s been pretty grumpy today. One of his top teeth is just below the surface; I hope it comes out soon so that he can relax!

Thanks for the suggestions. I think it would be good for me to start small, so I’m thinking I’m going to shoot for 1 day a week I’ll do some sort of video and maybe 1 day a week I’ll go for a run/walk/out-of-breath-crawl, LOL. 2 days should be do-able right? I don’t want to bite off more than I can chew and then get discouraged, but I don’t want to set goals that are so easy that I’m not making progress. I’ve got Netflix, does anybody have any suggestions for workouts that are on instant streaming?

Yesterday was another good on plan day (day 10 in a row!), total calories were 1610. This morning’s WI was 136.0. TOM is going to be here soon and I’ve been really struggling today to stay within my calorie range. I kind of can’t wait for bed just so that I don’t have to restrain myself any longer and can start fresh tomorrow! Also I had Chinese takeout, which I weighed out and worked into my calories, but I’m hoping that the sodium doesn’t cause too much water retention for tomorrow’s weekly WI. Matter of fact, I’m going to chug some water while I’m thinking about it to hopefully help counteract all that salt.

I did make myself a new salad concoction today: romaine lettuce, diced cucumbers, sliced strawberry, diced cantaloupe, sliced almonds, and a touch of poppy seed dressing. It was D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S. with the cantaloupe! I’ve got less than 100 calories left to “spend” for the night, and I’m thinking I’ll use them up on some more cantaloupe. Yum yum yum. Although it isn’t the same as the chocolate I’m craving, at least it’s quite sweet and way better for you.

Have a great day everyone!

namaste: yeah? that's good too hear. it doesn't seem too hard anyhow. though i kinda wanted to start yesterday, and i didn't cuz my abs were hurting so much... and still do! lol. wtf! and wow, really? but that sounds like a good side effect to me!!! lol. did you go to the yoga class? how was it?

sun: that's great! congratulations!! ^_^

rainbow: haha, i know what you mean... i really wish i could live with my bf... i get lonely real quick! you're funny about the fries. they don't do much for me... although every once in a while i'll get a craving. for me it's mostly chocolate or ice cream... haha. well, i promise i'll give it a try then! at least. yay for the run and the drop! congrats!

krissy: eheh, well i don't think i'd ever do a real race, but i guess if i can just get into running as an exercise, it'd be good for me. oh, thankfully, students here are much better behaved than back home!! so it's not like it's bad teaching them, but they are babies. like, 7th graders are basically the same as elementary school kids.... freakin hyper babies. let me tell you, if someone forced me to go teach elementary school, i would kill myself. lol. they are cute, but no way!! haha. that sounds like a really yummy salad!! i used to really dislike salads, but now that i've mastered the art of making yummy ones, i really love them! lol. 2 days a week should be good for starting out. but i think one good rule to follow is "don't ever go more than 2 days without working out". because after that it's so easy to just be like "oooh, i'll do it tomorrow". good luck!

Hey guys!

so now i'm looking at plane tickets for my trip home (montreal, canada) next summer, and it's sooooo expensive (more than usual) and i usually fly with AirCanada, through Canada, but for some reason now, their prices are crazy ridiculous high, and i think i may have to go with an American airline. which worries me because i heard customs in the States are crazy, AND, i'll have to go through customs twice. (ex.: Tokyo --> New York --> Montreal) there are no direct flights to Montreal... boooh... well anyways, so i found a decently priced one from American Eagle Airlines... has anyone ever flown with them? is it ok? Are American customs really so horrible? lemme know.

I'm also crazy sore right now and i think i may skip my workout. 2 days ago i did a Blogilates abs workout, and since yesterday, my obliques have been hurting like mad. lol. what is it with that woman's videos?!? last time i did her butt video and i was hurting for days too!! lol. well anyways. i'm thinking of going out to Akihabara today to check for an iphone. i just realized my old contract ran out so i can renew and get a new phone... i still have an old "dumb-phone" so... i might hop into the 21st century!! plus it's lovely out today, so i should really go outside!

happy friday everyone!

hey everyone just popping in to say hi! Im alive! and here's a funny blog thinger if you are interested http://thugkitchen.com/

Kawaii- what time of year are you travelling? I know when going from here to the Uk and vice versa you can pay almost twice as much at certain times of the year, e.g. December/January. Next summer for you would be same as my next summer- December? Or Canada summer? >.<

Missy- sounds like you are doing great! It will get easier the more you do, you wont always be holding out for bed But it does take a lot of energy to stay on plan, huh!

rainbow- glad to hear your dad is ok in the end And that your weight is going down whooo!

As for me, having a hair cut today which I know sounds like omg your life is so boring if that is the highlight, but I was growing my hair for the wedding so I havent had a cut in about 17 months! So I am super excited Rest of the day is for painting the house I think, maybe doing some prep on this presentation I have to do for work next week, ugh >.<

MissyKrissy I sort of did the girls night but not really haha. Had a friend come over last night but I drank too much and bailed to bed early. I think your two day plan sounds totally do-able. Sorry I can't help with the netflix, we don't even have netflix in NZ hah.

Kawaii I don't really understand the fry thing either. Me and my mum are just both nuts for french fries, always have been. Boo to expensive flights. I've got mine (to Vancouver) booked but not paid for and I am dreading saying goodbye to over $2000. That workout sounds intense but that can only be a good thing, right? So did you get the iphone?

Icon Hahaha I just had a giggle reading some of that blog. Looks like some good recipes on there too though. 17 months is a long time without a haircut - hope it's fun for you!

~So I learned something new this morning, running while hungover just really doesn't work that well. I failed last night, I didn't run because I got coerced into staying at work for a drink, which turned into a work friend coming over and more wine at my house and then I basically passed out in bed at 9pm. I think the fact I didn't eat any dinner last night except for 2 hash browns didn't help. I drank too much wine and with the eventfulness of the week that has been, I was just exhausted. Exhausted+drunk+not enough dinner = sleep until 4am, wake up, try to go back to sleep, set an alarm and then go for a run.

So my head was sore and I felt nauseous, but I felt so guilty for not running last night so I went for my run. There was way more walking than running because it was just so hard. My legs felt funny.

I'm mad at myself for drinking too much last night (and not eating a proper dinner) but I'm trying to get over it. So far it's not working so well... I have coffee with a friend in just over an hour so I better get ready for that.

Howdy!

It's my birthday today! Yesterday I walked into work and my co-worker had bought me a sausage mcmuffin from McDonalds...I'm too polite to say "oh, sorry, I can't eat McDonalds" so I ate it and it was nice. It was really sweet of him really! At least it didn't come with fries and a coke I suppose! That evening we went to sushi and it was yummy!! I did have a lot to eat and a lot to drink (plum wine) but I had so much fun with my co-workers and boyfriend. They bought me a Totoro onesie (I am in LOVE with Totoro - it's a problem) so I was so happy!! They had also made me a card with pictures of Totoro and they'd cut pictures of me out and stuck them on the face of the girl character so it looks like I'm hanging out with Totoro. Oh man, I love it!

When I got home that night I went in and my boyfriend had put a picture on the door that said he'd bought me a video game I really wanted to play. It was using the "ERMAGERD" meme if anyone is familiar with internet memes ;p. So I really appreciated that surprise! He'd already bought me a Kindle earlier in the year (we were lame and got each other Kindles super early) so I really wasn't expecting anything else from him!

Today I'm going to go to a New York style pizza place with my friends, pizza in Japan is really thin and the toppings tend to just slide off so I'm quite excited to have REAL pizza. There's always Dominos here but it's just not quite the same as restaurant pizza!

I'm feeling good vibes in my attitude recently about working out and eating better. Like, it's not something that I feel like I'll have to force myself to do anymore, it's something I WANT to do. I just keep thinking of myself at goal weight and knowing how EPIC I'll feel, and I can't do that with no exercise and eating badly. So that motivation is changing my outlook on my daily routine, which is exactly what I wanted to feel after releasing the pressure. So yes, feeling good even if I am having a cheat day today!

Other than that it's not going to be a super busy day, which I don't mind!

I think you guys should sign up for my workout song contest! I thought it was something everyone would be on board for but I'm struggling to gather followers! Please submit some songs, I'll love you forever!!

---

MissyK - Thank you for being impressed with ma running skillz haha. It's not that difficult, I was running 3 times a week for training so my stamina built and the adrenaline of the race keeps you going!
The rule of thumb for beginners or people short on money/time I say is try and workout 3 times a week for at least 20 minutes. That's why home workouts like Jillian Michaels are awesome because they're short and you can do them at home.
Huge congrats on staying on plan! I read somewhere it dates like 21 days for it to become a habit so keep it going and soon you will just naturally be on plan!

rainbow - It sucks that you would hate what you see in the mirror =(. I get really sad when I hear people feeling so negative about themselves. I know how it feels to go "ugh" but you're right, if you don't like it change it! Great idea on the water thing - that would definitely work! HUGE congrats on the weight loss! I'm so happy for you!
Sometimes running hungover worked for me, because it kind of sweated out all the crap that was in my system. But the run itself would not be fun!! Don't beat yourself up, it happened - you can't change it. If you don't want to drink that much in the future then just remember how you felt the morning after!

kawaii - Haha, I don't have that much makeup! I tend to just buy what I need or want at the time and it lasts forever (except foundation and concealer). DVDs on the other hand...that was my problem when I was in England! I can't buy them over here because my PS3 is a different region so it's helped!
Funny you say wee little 7th graders, I teach mainly 1st graders *sigh*. I'm all for running, I lost so much weight that way. I was doing Jillian then when I started running I realised how little cardio it was providing to my workout routine. So I'm ALL FOR you doing couch to 5k! I've seen the programme and it's really good. Gradually builds you up. Just don't get down on yourself because you will suck at first! Everyone does!
As for the airline - don't worry!! American customs are just grumpy that's all. In fact, because your final destination is Canada they might not even bother with you. When I flew to America I was asked like "why are you here? (boyfriend) How did you meet? What does he do? What do YOU do?" It lasts about 2 minutes. The annoying thing is you have to get your suitcase again and put it onto another conveyor belt for your next flight. But again - your final destination is Canada and since you're a citizen they probably want give you grief.

namaste - Glad you're not craving food anymore due to medication! I gained weight on the contraceptive pill when I was 15 (taking it for acne) so I know how much it sucks.

sun - Thanks for the support! And I LOVE eyeliner too! I was a bit of a goth back in the day so I wore it all the time haha. But now I use it for a different look. Do you have a favourite brand? Congratulations on the drop! I'm so happy you're running and seeing results. Definitely run in the morning, it makes you feel so good for the rest of the day!

Icon - Hello again! We're like pretty much the same weight right now, let's race ;p. Hope your haircut is all you want it to be!

icon: yeah, i'll be travelling in summer so it's a "high time", but i've gone (once) before and never paid that much, and i've also gone home at christmas time, which is another high time and never paid that much. poo... oh well. no! it's not weird! getting a haircut is fun! hope it looks nice!

rainbow: yes, i got it! ^^ wow, 2000$ for Vancouver is a lot although i dunno from where you are... maybe it's further than here... for me, if i check Vancouver tickets, it's like half the price! sucks balls... oooh, sorry to hear about your hungover run! you know, when i have too much wine, i always down a big glass of water with 2 aspirins before i go to bed. even if i don't feel headachey yet, and i usually don't wake up hungover. try it next time!

Rie: happy birthday!!! you know, the breakfast stuff from mcdonalds in Japan is actually quite healthy!! so don't sweat it too much yay for pressies and real pizza!! (where is this new york style place???) thanks for your advice about American customs! I was really worried haha... i guess i'll go ahead and buy that ticket... and yeah, since i got the iphone i downloaded a C25K app so we'll see!

hey guys! it's the weekend!! my last days of freedom! lol but i can't really do anything since i'm flat broke, but oh well. I went and got an iphone yesterday! woohoo! like, 5 years later. lol. i still feel like this is a weird alien device and not a phone but i guess i'll get used to it i've downloading loads of apps... lol. i got myfitnesspal but i thought it did a lot more than just count calories... or am i doing it wrong?

i also took a rest day from working out yesterday cuz my abs were hurting so much, and you know what? that felt really good. lol. i think i'm slowly going crazy... i've been so afraid to stop working out even for one day. lol. I'm being pretty lazy to get started today though... lol. I've been sitting here halway dressed for working out, downloading workout songs, lol... (inspired by Rie's thread!!) guess i better get a move on.

have a nice weekend all!

Well, yesterday was a mixed sort of day. My weekly weigh in went well, 136.0! I was pretty happy about that. I decided I'd get started on fitness rather than wait for next week to start (yay me right?) and went for a "run". I use that term loosely, LOL. All in all I was out for maybe about 20 minutes and ran for maybe about 5 blocks and walked for 7. Something like that. But I got out there despite the drizzle.

The rest of the day wasn't so good. I had a stressful shopping trip at the grocery store, my son's insurance wouldn't pay for his medication this time even though it did in the past, money that was supposed to be on my card wasn't there, and I just sort of gave up. I stopped counting my calories yesterday, bought a chocolate truffle cake slice, and had 3rds on dinner plus jello with whipped cream and some leftover rice with soy sauce to top it all off. Not good. I felt like crap afterwards and this morning my WI was 137.0. It could have been worse I guess, and that pound will go away soon enough. I just got tired of making the "right choices" and gave myself a belly ache instead. Blah!

Ok, today is a new day. Although I'm not counting calories today (this was planned) because I'm going to a bridal shower followed by dinner out at the fondue restaurant, I'm going to eat sensibly. If there are fresh veggies or fruits at the shower I'm going to load up on those and limit baked treats. At the restaurant I'm only going to have one glass of alcohol and eat my food slowly. I'll opt for a salad rather than an entree if we get more than cheese and dessert. I won't eat between the shower and the restaurant and I won't eat after dinner unless I'm truly hungry, in which case I'll have a piece of fruit. For breakfast I had a cup of tea and a banana.

Now I'm off to finish washing the fruits and veggies I bought yesterday, wrap my gift, get in the shower, bathe my baby and go! I'll be back later for personals.

ETA - One more positive thing from yesterday, DH and I did get our taxes filed and will be getting some money back, thank goodness! Got it done in time, *wheew*!

Kawaii – I haven’t flown internationally, but my experiences with American airlines were for the most part positive. If you just follow the rules and are prepared ahead of time, you should be fine. For example, make sure your carryon isn’t too big, don’t pack any liquids (or if you must, keep them in the 1 ounce, I think it’s one ounce, containers in a sealed plastic bag). When in line get your shoes off (it’s easiest if you wear slip ons or sandals) and your laptop out. Get there early. It’s really no big deal. Good luck finding a reasonably priced flight though! Also, Hooray for smart phones! It took me forever to join the 21st century, but I finally did a few months ago. Now I really like it.

Ghost – It’s funny that you mention that blog, I just saw it on Pintrest the other day! Too funny. It cracked me up. Eating veggies like a boss!

Stripe – I overdid it yesterday too. Sorry to hear your run was miserable. What kind of wine were you drinking? I myself LOVE muscato, but because I’m still breast feeding I drink only very rarely. Like special occasion rare, not “I feel like a glass just because” rare. Although I miss my wine and craft beer, I have to say giving it up has really helped my weight loss efforts.

Riestrella – Happy Birthday!!! LOL at the ERMAGERD meme, I know that one. I’m glad you had fun and went for real pizza. I love me some deep dish myself, but since embarking on this weight loss escapade the few times I’ve had pizza it’s been thin crust to help save on calories.

Well, yesterday was filled with friends and food, and I didn’t do so well in the self-control department. I’m actually really happy to be back on plan today though, for a good chunk of yesterday I felt physically sick from overdo-ing it. I have little to no desire to overeat today, and so far so good. My morning WI was 137.0, so 1 pound up from Friday’s weekly WI but not bad considering. I think I should be able to get it back down in a few days. TOM is running late (he’s only just started coming back around recently because DS isn’t feeding as often), so it will help when he gets here. His schedule’s a little wonky.

Have a great day everyone!

Riestrella Happy Birthday for the other day!! Hope you had a great day, it does sound like it. Yay we can be Totoro onesie buddies - I got one from my bf last year, also super obsessed with Totoro haha! Good vibes sound gooooood, yay! My water thing isn't working haha, I've already got two people water this morning and forgot about my own! Thanks for the wise words re drinking. I think I'm actually going to take a real break from it as it causes far more harm than good for me.

Kawaii That price for the ticket is a return airfare - not sure if you were meaning one way or return haha. Even though I'm basically uprooting and moving to Vancouver (work permit permitting), my mum is making me get a return ticket because she wants that security of knowing I'll be back to visit within the year haha - and she offered to pay the difference, so that is good as well! I have a smartphone but not an iPhone and every time I fiddle with my sister's I'm surprised at how much it does! I know my phone could do some of that stuff, but it's not a great model. Definitely upgrading when I move overseas! Hope you got a good workout in! And that starting back at work goes well!

Missy Sorry to hear about your stressful day and the overeating. I know how that goes all too well. Yay for getting the taxes done and tax return! Always welcome extra money haha. I was drinking Sauvignon Blanc...but my problem isn't the type of alcohol but the amount. I had way too much. I'm going to take a real break from drinking. Sounds like you had a fun day yesterday! One pound isn't too bad, I'm sure it will be back down in no time!

~Ugh, ok guys, I'm going to be really honest - I think my drinking is a problem because it leaves me feeling so depressed. I have suffered depression in the past, and while I've been moderately ok in the last few years, I never feel as bad as the few days after drinking - so the best thing is to just stop, right? I really think I need to. I had a period last year where my boyfriend suggested it, as it was becoming a bit of a problem. I just have a couple of drinks and then can't stop - so I think it's better if I just avoid it completely for a while. The worst thing is that my work has a pretty annoying culture of drinking on a Friday and they are pretty pressury about it - like - oh you're not being fun if you won't stay for a drink, come on, just one. It's actually quite hard to be firm around them, but I need to be. I feel like maybe I need to have a serious word with my boss (as he's among the pressuring ones!) and just tell him that I'm trying not to drink for my physical and mental health and would appreciate his understanding. I dunno.

Anyway, the rest of my weekend was ok considering. I went for coffee with a friend and walked there which was nice, then met my sister and brother in law for lunch and then did a spot of shopping (no purchases, go saving Sarah!) with her and then we went back to her place and watched dvds. I stayed over there too. We had the most delicious salad for dinner - lettuce, roast chicken breast, pears, prosciutto and a bit of parmesan. I did eat too much of it, and a few slices of fresh baked bread, but meh.

Then yesterday we went to this newly opened Hello Kitty cafe where I had a hot chocolate and we split a tiramisu type dessert. Then lunch was a big downfall, Carl's Jnr. I basically gave up on calories yesterday. Dinner was thai takeout but I was so full from lunch I didn't have much.

My weigh in this morning was nearly a kg on Friday's low, but I'm ok with it because I know I ate crap. Back into my decent running routine this week and trying to feel positive - and no drinking! It's definitely the cause of a lot of anguish, I just have to keep reminding myself of the guilt I feel and I think maybe just no drinking is the way to go. Hope you guys can support me through this as well!

CURSE, CURSE, DOUBLE CURSE!
The weather here has been gray and rainy and snowy and cold and wet and CRAPPY. I'm on my PERIOD. My boyfriend and I got in a FIGHT (the first kinda bad but stupid one since we've been together these two years). All this to say, I got mad and left the house in the rain in about 34 F degrees. I angry-walked around until I found a POTBELLY'S SANDWICH STORE and got a COFFEE MALT to make myself feel better. It was delicious. A large treat. I mean, 720 calories large! I'd been good all day, but....... ya know, not a great decision. *HUMPH*
BUT on the plus side, I'm over it all, back on track, and plan on working out extra tonight and tomorrow to hopefully work it away! I've still got 3 lbs to lose this month for my mini-month goal!
Sorry for the negative nancy post, I just needed to confess somewhere, and 3FC always seems like there are people who have been there.
Rough day. I'm ready for spring already-- I want warm weather and exercise outside! And happy sunshine.

krissy: hey, well done for getting out there! remember a short/small workout is better than no workout! and you know, we all slip up every once in a while, so don't beat yourself up! that one pound is not a real fat gain, so as long as you get right back on track it'll be gone before you know it thanks for the info about AA, i actually bought a ticket! 1500$ CAD. not too bad, i think. the only thing is that my departure from Tokyo is CRAZY early (7am) and my momma always told me to show up at least 2 hours in advance for a flight, but that won't be possible cuz first trains start around 5!! well anyways...

rainbow: of course i was talking return! lol. that's sweet about your mom... yeah, there are a lot of cool androids here in japan that might have been cheaper but i knew i wanted an iphone cuz of all the stuff it can do... plus, it actually ends up being cheaper than my old phone, so... and hun, if you think you need to stop drinking, then stop drinking! i think it's a bit of a sham to say people will get on your case if you don't drink at a party. what is this, peer pressure? like the first time someone offers you pot at a party when you're 16? you're an adult, and it's your choice to not drink, now if your coworkers are too moronic to not respect that, then they are the childish ones. actually, japan has a HUGE drinking culture, you know... people drink ALL the time here. and i've known quite a few people over the years who will go to all the drinking parties, pay the alcohol fees, and drink only oolong tea. why? because they just don't drink. they either don't like to, or it's for health reasons, but i've never seen anybody bully them for it.

om: hang in there!! i'm not sure what a coffee malt is, but considering the situation, you could've done way worse than 700-ish calories! that's nothing. just turn the page and forget about it. i hope you get things sorted out with your man!

hey guys!

so! today was my first day back at work!!! and MAN am i tired!!! lol. i only had 3 classes (back-to-back though) in the morning today so i could leave around noon. lemme tell you, my body had forgotten what it feels like to stand up that long and my lower back was hurting pretty bad. plus, i'd slept like 5 hours cuz had a hard time falling asleep and then getting up at 6! yikes! but i'm glad to be bad. it was good and the kiddies were cute

i was so tired when i got home though... i had to drag myself off the bed to make a salad for lunch, and then again to go get monies to pay my bills (i got paid! woot!) and then i made myself some coffee cuz i'm pretty sure i'd not have managed to get my butt into gear otherwise!! did workout 7 of BR, gonna be the last time, i think! and now i'm just lying here.

like i said, i've just got a new ipod and i'm starting to get really obsessed with myfitnesspal!! i know i told you all before i wasn't counting calories, but this is kinda fun, and i can log my exercise in too, and it adds more calories if you exercise! Rie, I think you were right and that I wasn't eating enough before... so let's see how i go eating about 1500cals a day!! I have this new goal now. i ordered these pants and they don't fit me and i am SO mad!! but i can ALMOST squeeze into them, so i am determined to get my fatass into those pants by the time may rolls around!!! lol.

in attendance with this current goal, i've also had my first "jog" yesterday. i did it with the C25K app, so it was just a beginner thing. 5 min walks + alternate 60s jog and 90s walk for 20 minutes + another 5 min walk. it was alright! i thought i'd be way more winded but i was only sweating a little at the end. i dunno that i'll ever be able to run straight without walking pauses though!!! my smoker's breath will not allow me, i think... lol!

hope y'all have a good week!

Missy Krissy:

we all have those days the positive is you're back on plan. Plus, I always tend to hold a little extra right before TOM, and a few days into it.

rainbowstripe:
I think if you think your drinking is a problem (especially if it causes you feel depressed), then you should follow your instinct to cut down or stop. Talk to your boss, I'm sure he'll be understanding. You shouldn't have to feel pressured if you hang out with coworkers.

om namah shivaya:
Sorry you had a bad day sounds like a movie, with you walking in the rain and all lol that malt sounds delicious, btw. You needed a treat, and you went back on plan so don't be too hard on yourself.

KawaiiCandie:

I know how you feel, it was so hard for me to go back to work after my Spring Break. I was tired for the first few days back, but you'll get back in the rhythm.

Hope everyone is having a Happy Monday
My weekend was fairly good. Except I went dancing on Saturday. Apparently, I like clubs more than I thought only bad thing is that I do like to drink (shots). Hopefully all the dancing offsets that.
I had to reschedule my date for later in the week (had to go out of town on Friday). So, I didn't get to meet Mr. Buff.
also, I weighed in at an even 175 this morning so

rainbow Sorry about your drinking issues. Sounds like taking a break from it would be a good idea and see how you feel about it all. How is your running going?

missy how is your working out going? Even though you over ate you got right back on the horse! Great job.

kawaii Yay on the new iphone! I love c25k! I am on week 8 and loving it. Keep going! Your workouts sound really good if you are sore for days after. Keep it up girl. you are inspiring me.

reistrella I love both MAC and Revlon eyeliner. MAC sells a kajal liner which is really black and sexy but it leaks a little. Revlon twist ups don't so I use that mainly. Happy birthday! Glad you had a good time and a nice present. I am waiting for the feeling of wantiong to and not forcing myself to kick in. Good on you!

om aw sorry you are feeling yucky. Glad you are back on track. I have so much trouble staying on track with tom around. keep going!

kiss yay on the new weight!

So ladies I have been MIA. Wedding of a close friend this weekend. Was crazy and fun but so busy. I am 172 this morning so no damage from what I ate. Yay. Hoping to see 171 next monday. I need to run today but its too hot right now. Later in the evening when it's a bit cooler will be good. People are starting to notice I ahve lost weight and it's emabarrassing to hear them say thhings like " look at how slim Sun is looking" etc. I have such a long way to go and I have seen pics of myself. I know I don't look that great. It makes me cringe when they say something and everyone looks at me assessingly. eh anyways, hope you guys have a great week.
