I had the same problem a few days ago and I drank a lot of fennel tea and it worked a charm. I try to drink 1 cup a day and lots of peppermint tea too for digestion

Need more produce -- veg, fruit. Beans esp are fiber rich -- bean soup is my go to if I've been low.

The fiber RDA for grown ups in general is like 25 -- tho you can try the calc to see it by your age/gender. http://www.healthcalculators.org/calculators/fiber.asp

You are barely at half way -- and the longer stool sits in your bowels, more water gets pulled away from it and it gets hard. So harder to pass.

I give my kid apples to firm it up if she's runny and sweet potato/prunes to loosen if she's constipated.

A.

hi there. ive read in many different places the serving suggestion for fiber is anywhere from 30-45g a day.

i was having problems with this to when i started calorie counting. so i keep my fiber between 30-45g at the least each day. and it works out well.

and a great way to get most your fiber is through pshsyllium husk. thats what i use 2sppon fulls in 16oz water great!

Eating less --> pooping less. When I'm being "good" and eating healthy foods at loss calorie levels (lots of vegetables) I just don't need to go as often.

I'm glad you posted that because I was having the same problem. I rode my bike the 2 miles yesterday to the pharmacy and got an enema. I KNOW TMI!! But it had been 3 days. It did make me go but I realized that I just didn't have much in me because everything has been really healthy. like krampus said, eating less = going less..

Who knew being good would be bad lol jk
