i was always a big kid and i also focused more on academics and making people THINK that i was happy with myself throughtout high school & my freshman year of college. but i eventually had an epiphany and i asked myself "do you love yourself?" and i realized that i really didnt love myself. so my sophomore year of college, I decided FOR MYSELF that I was going to make a change for the better by not making food a priority in my life. I began to do research and realized that I was overeating and eating the complete wrong things. So I changed the way I thought about food and I realized that exercise is a stress reliever and it can help me deal with the stresses of life. This is a lifestyle change that i will carry on with me throughout my life.
