Default 2 NSVs!

Woo! Okay, I'm getting pretty good at these Non-Scale Victories. I used to be very "the scale is the only true win!" but now I realize it's all the little things.

First one is a Savers opened near me and I figured I'd check them out. This place RULES. Giant thrift shop with hundreds of cool clothing items. I found a pair of Lucky brand jeans for $5.00. The NSV is that they are a TEN! A TEN! AHHH!

My second NSV is that I can finally touch my hands together if I bend them behind my back. Like, if I bend one hand down from my neck and one up from my stomach behind me. It makes no sense, I can't explain it but it's a stretch I haven't been able to do in like 5 years.

NSVs are cool, I will have to reward myself more for these and not just the scale!

Way to go. We have a place kind of like your Savers sounds. It is called Platos. Anyhoo...no worries...I know that stretch you are talking about. You are rocking it!!!

Yeah... so I just tried that stretch and didn't come anywhere close. Good for you! Congratulations on that size 10- that's awsome!

Awesome! I love Lucky brand clothing.

And I'm so excited because we're getting a Savers in the next town over. I already love Goodwill.

Congrats!!! No scale victories are always the best because they are so unexpected. I remember waking up on day out of the blue and realizing my clothes no longer fit me and now that I've been lifting weights regularly I've noticed that everything feels a whole lot lighter. I also randomly realized I can now do plank exercises and do the roll up in Pilates. I like the stretch thing you did. I am no where close to being able to do that and now you've given me a new mini goal to reach for. Members like you give me inspiration. good work!
