Feral - Hm I'm honestly not sure about the whole BC thing. I'm on the Depo shot and I NEVER have a period while I'm on it...I haven't had a period for 2 years straight now.

Samantha417 - GJ on making the meal healthy! I would have given into the fries lol. I'm trying to trick myself into thinking fries are the worst thing ever invented and that they're disgusting.. but it's not working entirely so far :P. All I know is that chemist use a chemical that makes the fries smell good because once you strip the potato of everything there is no scent or nutrients.

Woke up this morning, weighed myself...157. 7 more pounds to go and I'll be where I originally started 4 months ago. My bf wants to go play futbol today so we will see how that goes, because my right leg is killing me. I'm happy though, I managed to lose 3 pounds in one week.. hope I can keep it up.

Shauna - Hope you feel better! I meant to say that earlier.

Samantha - GREAT JOB!!!

Kruez - have you tried sweet potatoe fries as an alternative? I actually like those better than regular fries and they're better for you. I don't eat them often but all I have to say is AMAZING!

Kruez: congrats on making it to 157 today! 3 lbs is awesome! And I hate freezer fries, which is what they were. I had one and that was enough, they're icky.

Oh! I meant to show this link yesterday! I was watching the Today show, and they talked about 10 diet mistakes that slow down your metabolism. http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/368340...-today_health/ Because of this all of my water is refrigerated even though I like my water at room temperature, and I'm drinking green tea every day instead of coffee every morning.

Stella - Yeah, I like to enter my own in too. But it does make it easier when someone's already entered in what I'm having lol!

Feral - It was AMAZING to feel normal! Even when I was sitting on the rock to dry off I was like "you know, even skinny girls I know have pooch when they sit up like this." As for BC/exercising I have missed a period once in the last 6 months, but the next two were really heavy. I've also had them be really light, almost to the point where it's just spotting.

Samantha - Good for you for making good of a sticky food situation!

-------------------

Awesome, no water retention! I was worried I wouldn't have eaten enough calories or that I didn't drink enough water yesterday but looks like I did pretty good! Down only half a pound, but I think more might shed off tomorrow. I have kickboxing today and I'm about to call Erin and see if she wants to do it with me then go out for some lunch with our friend who is home from Alaska.

It is gorgeous outside. I'm so happy the rain's gone away!

Hey girls!

Thanks for all the wonderful posts! I'm happy with myself, I had no idea I could lose 7 inches in one week...goes to show that I need to stop focusing on the number and more on my clothes and body!

Skinnybride - its a just a 4 week community challenge, there are 7 of us in it and it is led by a nutritionist! It's really neat, she gives you a menu to follow and lots of healthy recipes and we don't count calories! yay!

Feral - OMG! My effing nerves were shot last night watching Grey's! That had to be the all time best season finale I have ever seen!

As for me - I woke up early this morning, feeling great, the sun was shining, so I walked to work! Its about 4 km and I did it in under 40 minutes - and when I did it two months ago it took me about 15 minutes longer! Now - I have to walk home - I'm going to do that for my lunch break and then drive back so that I don't have to walk home at 5pm! Yay me! I feel great today!

Thanks ladies for all the support, you girls rock!!

TGIF - Have a wonderful day!!

Kruez - way to go!!!

Feral- I have actually, and you're right they taste amazing! But something always pulls me back to fries :P. I know one thing though, nothing will come between me and Popeyes fries...ever.

Samantha417- Interesting, thanks for the read! Even if I'm not above 40 a lot of the advice makes sense in general for losing weight or maintaining.

Platformnine- Gratz! I think I need to be drinking more water myself, I don't think sparkling water works so well :P.

JennyG- OMG that's great!! Walking to work, now thats willpower. I'd be too lazy and make up excuses..but you're amazing for that! Keep it up!

I LOVE love love you're collar-bone tat.
I've got 11, and a total tat fiend.
I am definitely a fan of the sayings - pretty freakin' rad, lady!

LOL Mittens - Thank you.... It's my pride and joy, which is good since it's the most visible of them all. Luckily I can cover it at work, but I love wearing shirts that show it off when I can!

Ughhhh. Does losing weight make your period cramps worse or something, because these friggen cramps are the worst thing I've ever experienced. I almost NEVER have cramps, and when I do, they're very minor and only last a few hours. But today. Ugh. I have ridiculous cramps AND intestinal distress.

And I am moving tomorrow, so that is fun.

I am only 9 away from 199.

Sam - I think mine have just varied month to month. I remember one time I was at my friends house and I left and on the way home I had the WORST CRAMPS OF MY LIFE... as in, I almost had to call her once I did get home to come take me to the doctor because I really thought something was wrong. Stupid ovaries. I feel ya hon... TOM finally came for me too. I hope you feel better.

When I was in highschool, I had the worst cramps of my existence. After I got above 200 lbs, they went away. Now that I'm back to highschool weight, they're unbearable. So I don't think its "weight loss" per say, but just being at a certain weight. If that makes sense.

Sam- as a fatty I never had cramps... and they say losing weight/exercise is supposed to help with all kinds of TOM issues...however I now suddenly have cramps

Stella-Jealous of your steak dinner and cupcake and seriously I went to the website just to read about the cupcakes

Feral- I have been sending good juju your way so you can get to go to the beach... Were twins my tattoo came from a postsecret forum as well...

Chele- I feel like you hate your job... your students seem horrible... along with the people you work with...lets find you a new one?

Samantha- I'm still on a mission to find those m&m's... also people are very funny about the whole eating healthy thing... sometimes they try to be helpful... the one thing I hate is the food police... like is that low fat, is that "healthy" should you be eating that lol... I get so snappy when something like that is said...so at least Gregs mom was as helpful as possible

Jenny- You're a freaking rockstar!

Mary- I dont think I could ever put my body in a bikini so kudos to you chica... also whats with this hiking? I must be lazy but 7 hours of walking around in the wilderness just isnt my thing lol... I'll take the gym anyday

So lately I've been very blah...not like diet wise...thats totally in check along with exercise... I just dont give a crap about stuff..I'm just kinda like blah... I'm overly anxious and stuff as well... and also I'm a bit overwhelmed...LSAT in 2 weeks...cant wait to get that over with finally!!!! Like I got a message on here the other day saying I read somewhere that you once weighed 300 pounds (which I never did and that made me mad imediately...but I shouldnt have been so mad) and just like how did you lose the weight... I guess to me it just seems obvious and like why are you asking... I think we all know the formula... its just a matter of actually doing it... I've also been annoyed with blogs... half of them are just whinning and never really doing anything about it, yet they have al these "followers" for what? so people can listen to them complain on a daily basis even though they havent lost a single pound in the last 2 years... IDK like I said frustrated... sorry about this horrible rant of nonsense

The boy and I are going out to dinner tonight and a walk around downtown Annapolis... I haven't seen him in 3 weeks...so I'm excited and super anxious of course

OMG! I LOVE Postsecret.
I have all the books and think it's such amazing concept.

Feral - Definitely hear ya with covering them up. My most
visible ones are cherry blossoms that vine around my wrist
up onto the top of my hand and plumeria flowers going down
my neck.
However nothing a dress shirt and leaving my hair down doesn't
solve :P

I know that I'm new here, but I just have to throw out somewhere the dismaying fact that I now weight twice what I used to way in previous years. I know that it didn't happen overnight, but good lord! Ah, well... Just have to use it as motivation to keep hanging in there.
