Bex - Tell your body to stop being sick and get better! LOL I know that's far easier said than done. I have a cold at the moment and it is, thankfully, the wimpiest cold I have ever had so it's not stopping me from doing anything and it's not keeping me awake at night. Hope you feel better soon!
Oodles - I gained a little bit of a 'boyfriend layer' as well but thankfully he eats immensely well for a 22 year old university student! We're both broke so instead of going out we often had nights in and took turns cooking for each other which saved money AND calories! I probably put on about 5 pounds which is what I'm working on getting off now to get back to my original lowest weight of 150.

Well done so far, you can do it!
Zan - Welcome back! Glad to see you here again. I have a very cheap digital scale, so to be honest I'm not sure how accurate it is but it works for me as long as it's on a flat surface. I've never paid for WW except for their online points tracker because I find it pretty convenient. If the people in your meeting are being negative, you don't need that! Come here instead!

Glad your doctor's appointments have been on the positive side.

My boyfriend was offered a job yesterday! It has been a grueling wait - he had two interviews six weeks apart and then we waited over a week to hear if they wanted to hire him or not. It's for a big company in Cambridge and he's only going to be a graduate so doesn't have as much experience as older candidates - they liked him so much they gave him the job anyway! I am so thrilled and excited about moving but now I have to find a job for myself. I don't have one at the moment because I'm finishing my Masters but as of August I'll be done, extending my visa, and looking for something full-time. This will be our first time living together as well, and having a flat of our own. Eeee! So exciting!!

It sounds so house-wifey but I can't wait to host dinner parties. I'm going to be the young, sophisticated (yeah right), friendly foreign (he's English, I'm Canadian) girlfriend who makes amazing meals for his workmates and their partners. Can't wait!
The main reason I mention this is that I am making us a fancy Greek-style meal tomorrow since it's not something we usually have. I'm going to make chicken skewers and this Greek pie thing I found the recipe for that is basically roasted peppers (or sundried tomatoes), spinach, and feta cheese wrapped in filo pastry. I calculated the points for 1/2 chicken breast worth of skewers (they are alternated with veggies like peppers and onions) and a third of the pie and it only came out to 5.5 so pretty pleased with that. Oh, and I'm going to make rhubarb crumble for dessert. With custard for him and none for me because custard is disgusting!

Hope you're all having a wonderful week! I know I am!
