Welcome Eva, and good luck to you!! Congratulations on your losses!

My victory for today - 156 again!!! And just think, I was about to do anything for some ice cream yesterday, LOL. Luckily I didn't!

Freedom – Ok your post made me tear up a bit. I can’t imagine that happening to my pet! And one of the minis at that. I’m so glad your sister got there in time to stop the dog and that the neighbor took the dog away. It’s a shame that people feel like it’s ok to just dump off animals when they don’t want them anymore. I’m starting the 30ds again today too! Glad to hear you had a good workout with it!

Fashin – I’m sure you’ll be happy with interval training.

Nicole – Good for you being proactive with the diabetes watching. You’ll have to keep us updated with how your diet is going… YAY for your WI!

Sotypical – “I see your pizza…” So glad to hear your weekend was nice!

Hot – Welcome back, good to hear you had a great break! Also wtg on hopping back OP.

Kirjava – lol on your workout, I love it! You sound like you really love your students and that’s really great to hear.

Eva – WELCOME! Hope your stay here in the 150s is nice and quick! You CAN do it!!

As for me I was good all day yesterday, then ate some mac and cheese. I don’t feel horrible about it since I love it and I haven’t had any in a long time. BUT, I’m sure the scale isn’t very happy with me about it. Boo. Anyhow, I have put signs up around my house near food that say 149… now every time I reach for something to eat I will be reminded of what I’m striving for.

Stargzr - I like the idea of the signs around your house! I kind of do the same thing when I am working out--visualize the number I want to see. Good motivation! I love mac n cheese also and sometimes you just need to treat yourself. Try not to worry about it too much!

Yesterday was a pretty good day. I stayed within my points, but I didn't make it to the gym. I AM going to work out today though. I really need to! Tomorrow we are going to a Dodger game so I know I won't get a chance to work out tomorrow. Gotta burn off all that cheating from last week!

Thank you ValentineNicole and stargzr! I feel very welcomed lol

stargzr - I like the idea of signs around the house too. I'm gonna put one on the Easter candy and the chocolate chip cookies I made for my daughter.

Today the scale said 160.4. Do I need to go to the 160s thread? lol It's probably just water weight since I had a salty dinner last night. Gotta drink lotsa water today.

Hey girls. Finally found a minute to pop in. 155.9 yesterday which I was very happy about. However, my wonderful, relaxing spring break is over and I'm back to work. I don't know why, but it's SO much harder to stay on track when I'm working. I suspect that it has something to do with all the kid food I have to look at all day.

I was thinking about rewards for hitting big milestones- fashin and nicole, I think both of you mentioned it. Does that help many of you? I think it could be motivating, but after the amount of time I spent in Nairobi's slums, I have terrible guilt about spending money on things that are non-essentials. Any ideas for cheap/free things that could be motivating?

Eva, welcome! Hang with us, that 0.4 will be gone in no time !

stargzr, mac and cheese is a definite weakness of mine! I'll live vicariously through you on that one . LOVE the sign idea.

kirjava, love that you jogged for 35 minutes with your student to get the record! I can just picture it... Great way to burn a few extra calories and get your kiddos up and moving. I subbed in PE yesterday and we played this tag game where if you got tagged, you had to do 5 jumping jacks to get back in the game. I was playing with them and was definitely the favorite person to tag- I ended up doing jumping jacks every hour for like 15 minutes!

hot - thanks! Have fun at the baseball game, even though it's the dodgers... jk I think we're all partial to our own teams, right?

shasha - So glad to hear you've been OP and still losing. Great to see you around too!

eva - Yes, you must leave. JK Of course you can stay here, you'll be back in the 150s super soon anyhow, so no worries!

tuende - Great to see your WI I'm sure! 155, that's great! I'll definitely put some thought into what you can buy/do for a small amount of money and get back to you... Just off the top of my head I was thinking a home-done manicure or pedicure with a new nail polish? (that's one of my fav rewards!) I did rewards on my journey... well, tried. I don't think I actually did anything I said I'd do when I met my mini-goals. Oh well though, they still helped motivate me and get me where I am so it doesn't hurt.

Sadly my Wii Fitness scale has lied a horrible lie to me today. I powered it up, stepped on (since I haven't had much free time, it's been a long time) and it told me that I weighed 138... I was like 'wait... I weighed 156 just last week on the scale at work and about that at my grandpa's'.
Has anyone had one of those days? Kind of ranks up there with the AARP info packet telling me that it was time for me to sign up, mind you I was 23 then.

155 today! That leaves only 30 pounds till my pre-pregnancy weight! Which is probably a ton to many of you, but I started with 50 pounds to lose, so I'm feeling pretty great about it! 20 lbs down, 30 to go.

Hey all! My scale keeps fluctuating between 153 and 150. I am really going to push myself really hard the rest of the week and make it down to at least 150. It was showing 152.8 today. Yuck! It's so frustrating. I did join a really nice gym yesterday which offers great classes and stuff so after my spin class for 60 minutes it really helped me to push myself and get in the cardio. Yoga today because I am sooo sore after yesterday. Never been sore doing cardio before! Guess that's a good sign. I know I am just blabbing and stuff but very frustrated and DETERMINED to loose this weight! I was at 38% body fat during the test today and that HURT!!!!

kirjava, good for you for getting stuff to work out at home! My bf is going through a huge workout phase so he's buying all kinds if stuff that I'll get to use . No excuses right!

Welcome Eva!! Of course you can stay! Lol I'm sure it's water weight and will fall off in no time!

stargzr, don't feel bad about eating mac n cheese. I'm actually having a little for dinner tonight! It's lower fat/cal and I'm making sure to eat more veggies and lean protein but I love adding healthier versions of my faves to my diet. And even if what you had wasn't a healthier version, a little every now and then is ok!

Sugar, wow that's crazy I'm sorry your wii is being so weird!

Nicole, 155 is awesome you go girl! You'll be back down to your pre baby weight in no time!!

5factorgirl, great job joining the gym you'll be down in body fat very soon. I know I need to do the same cause I'm right there with you! And don't worry about the scale, especially if your muscles are sore you're probably holding onto some water but give it a couple days and you'll be at 150! Good luck you can do it!

Still fluctuating between 158 and 159 which is really frustrating but I've been unusually crampy with TOM and I feel like I'm getting sick (achey muscles and sore throat). So I'm just going to stay perfectly OP this week and I'm still holding out for a woosh come Monday. I hope you are all having a good day so far!

sugar - Totally weird about your wii... Hope you can fix it. =/

nicole - 20lbs down is GREAT!! You're doing amazing! And 155 - woot!

5factor - Sounds like you enjoy your gym and that's a great thing! How crazy, you're going to be outta here so soon!!

fashin - Major plus on the bf getting into shape and you reaping the benefits of his purchases, lol. It sounds like you'll definitely be in for a whoosh soon!

Today at work is irritating so I'm probably going to be super busy all day.
Scale put me at 156 this morning so I'm happy to finally feel in control of my weight again. I think that some of my actions recently weren't helping me at all and after yesterday, I feel like I'm really back on track for good this time. I'm really excited to get outta the 150s! Who's with me?!

Nicole - congrats! 20 pounds is awesome! I have about 30 more as well.

Fashin - got my fingers crossed for you for a big Monday WOOSH!

Sugar - did you have it on the carpet or something?

Eva - welcome!

I did a bunch of cooking last night. It was nice. It has been a while (a week or so) since I really cooked a nice meal. Made a double batch of mini meatloaves and some baked falafels! Both turned out awesome too!

You guys are all so motivating!

stargzr- I love your note idea for the house. I have been writing down my totals on a sticky note every time I weigh in at LAWL and I leave it on my dash as motivation. Maybe I should start leaving the sticky notes by the pantry Also congrats on being back on track!

sugar- My wii hates me sometimes too. Its never done anything as drastic as yours, but it'll give me bizarre readings sometimes. Have you noticed any results from it? I do the 10 minute jog sometimes in the morning when its really cold outside, and I really like it.

5factor- your gym sounds really nice! Spinning classes will really help you tone I'm sure! When I lived in Colorado I went to a few and I wish I had kept up with them!

Nicole- You're about halfway there! 20 lbs is such a nice number to say in your head. (I'm jealous!) Good job

fashin- I hope you start feeling better! Frustrating to stay focused when you're not feeling your best.

I've been feeling either a cold or allergies this last week. I had a little setback on Monday because I had a meeting and I didn't have any say in the restaurant. We ended up at a salty, oily Korean restaurant where the food was delicious but I've been too scared to weigh in since then. I've been on track the last two days so hopefully all that salt is working its way out. Still trying to get into my "goal pants" that have been sitting in my drawer. My sister borrowed them the other day and looked adorable. Sigh...
