Amba, I'm giving you this week to catch up. I was 157.0 today. That's .2 lose which I don't consider bad for a few reasons: TOM this week, it is the week after being sick which is usually a major binge week for me, and I haven't had more than a few hours sleep each day this week. More waking hours=more food intake.

lisa, the weather was a little nutty today. There was snow at 7, torrential downpours at 8:30 and the sun was out at 2. I switched between a t-shirt, a long sleeved t-shirt and a spring jacket withing 9 hours!

I have been having this really silly problem since weigh in last week. Every time I go to tell someone I weigh 157 I mix up the numbers and say 175. I spent even more time in the 170s than I did in the 160s (before I joined 3FC) and I think I'm having some sort of mental block about the 150s.

Anyone else ever experience this?

I am always telling people that I weigh 164 even tho I weigh 154... I think its just habit. Maybe it I is just so unreal to me that I even weigh that, even though I still feel very fat 154 sounds so much better than 204!!

WOW. That last post just made me realize that I have lost 50 pounds. I never would have realized if I didnt make that post. Wow thanks Kurri!! Its a weird feeling to know that 50 lbs are off of me, I wish that I had better before pictures. Sometimes I wish that for one minute I could add all the weight back just so I could see how it feels to be that much heavier, then I might be more proud of the way I look now and all the work I have put in.

LOL Maybe we can rent fat suits (like Mrs. Doubtfire's) after we are done losing all this weight!

Congrats on your 50 pounds!

Before I even read your post I looked at my numbers and was thinking how close 50 pounds is getting. It's funny how things creep up on ya! I was wearing an older pair of size 14 jeans and it took my cousin telling me that my butt was sagging to realize I should probably retire them. (Just those 14s because they are old and the stretchiness has been overstretched lol) Today I had on size 17 jeans from Target and I couldn't take three steps without them falling down. I'm starting to think I'm in need of a little shopping spree.

I'm so jealous of your height! You look awesome in your avatar.

Hey girls! I am happy to report that I have been seeing 157 for a couple days now so I'm changing my ticker. Official weigh-in isn't until Monday but I weigh every morning and from past experience I usually lose weight each day. Sometimes I do go back up 1/2 lb to a lb from day to day but that is usually water weight or TOM related.

Collegegirl, congrats on losing 50 lbs. I can't wait until I can say the same!

To the New Jersey girls, I am originally from Philadelphia but my parents are from New Jersey--Montclair (Mom) and Flemington (Dad). I LOVE New Jersey. We lived on Long Beach Island for a year when I was a kid and it was the best year of my life. As a kid I used to go to the Trenton Farmer's market and Halo Farms all the time w/ my family.

I am at 150.4 today!!!

Unfortunately I'll probably gain a pound between celebrating our anniversary with DH tonight and my company Christmas party tomorrow night. I plan to splurge tonight but tomorrow I'll be good. I ordered the chicken anyway.

Wow...we have a couple girls who are sooo close to the 140's. You guys will be in a new decade by the new year!

KurleQ, thanks! Half of my siblings were born in New Jersey so I have always considered myself an honorary Jersey girl anyway. LOL.

Collegegirl, a tacky christmas party sounds like fun. Do you have to bring a tacky christmas present too? My weekend plans involve shopping, exercise, and more shopping. I want to get all of my holiday shopping DONE by Sunday evening. Maybe I'll even have time to wrap everything Sunday evening too. I actually hate the holiday season. If I could afford it, I'd fly down to St Barth's every Christmas/New Years.

(Adios)FatPants, congrats on your anniversary and good job ordering the chicken for the christmas party. You'll be in the 140's in no time.

As for me, I'm still holding steady at 157, but, according to my Tanita scale, my body fat percentage has gone down a point.

Hope everybody has a great weekend!

Kurri- I don't know how much catching up I'll be doing this week. I don't officially weigh in 'til Sunday, but I weighed myself yesterday and I was still at 159.8 I don't really get it...I've been eating right and I've been working out consistently the past couple weeks (which I didn't do the first 2 months I started losing weight)...so I'm a little confused. But congrats on your .2--that's more change than I've seen so far this week!

College Girl- Congrats on the 50lbs!!!!

Fat Pants-You are SOOOOO CLOSE to the 140s!!!!! CONGRATS!!
