Ladies - You're so chatty gah!

Feral - I hope everything goes well with your meeting. I think if the counselor had told me what to do, I may have stated (calmly and professionally) that maybe she should do her job so that I wouldn't have to leave a note on her door.

Forest - Good idea, stay home and snuggle up! I wish it was snowing here... just rain again :C

My 179.5 was short lived, I'm up to 180. Thank you soy sauce, hibachi, and one large Zombie because the friend we took our for dinner couldn't finish it. She took one sip and we had already paid for it, and my other friend was driving. Not that I'm really complaining... I love Zombies <3 It's 5 shots of different rums and literally just a shot of juice to add some color. I'm not too worried about it, and the dinner was so worth it (pre-planned into my calories! AND I didn't eat all of the rice!) I had calimari and chicken yuuuummm! I ate all of the calimari and only a bit of the chicken though. And I ate all of my veggies before I even touched my rice Maybe if I double my water intake and kick butt in my basement gym today I'll see 179.0 on the scale tomorrow I'm really pushing to be at 178 or lower on Friday, though, because of my cocktail party. Gotta go put on my game face and work out!

Haley - i love sushi! my husband and i went last week, and totall pigged out. yum!

Platform - 5 shots of rum?!?! that sounds....potent! i would be on the floor!

Skinny - LOL, I'm a rum girl And tequila... I love tequila :3 Usually I plan daily, unless its a big holidDay dinner like Thanksgiving - then I'll plan out my calories a few days early. Do you count calories or are you on a plan like weight watchers? I say start now because then you'll come out of the holidays with a maintained weight or a loss!

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG. HUGE NSV. I have always been heavier than my mom, though I've been able to steal some of her shirts (albeit, SOME) I have never ever ever fit into her pants or jeans. Today I was looking at measurement size charts from several different stores and they kept telling me that my measurements meant I'm a size 10. Doubtful of this I went into my mom's closet to hunt down the pair of Old Navy size 10 jeans she has, which I couldn't find. I did find a pair of size 10 Boston Proper jeans, though. But I was aware of the fact that Boston Proper usually runs small. I huffed and thought "what the heck" and decided to try them on. I expected them to get stuck at my hips or my thighs but they slid right up and buttoned! There's hardly any muffin top either!!! (Granted, my stomach sticks out maybe an inch because they run a little small, but after an hour of wearing them they're less snug) I sat right down and cried after looking in the mirror. 1. I have not been a size 10 since 7th and 8th grade and 2. I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO FIT INTO MY MOM'S PANTS!!!! After I was done crying I got up and danced around the house. My brother (home sick) congratulated me and my aunt and step sister did a happy dance with me. I don't even care about the number on the scale today, because for the first time in a very long time I feel very normal and I do not feel like I belong in the plus sized section!!!!

I'm adding pictures after I upload them to my progress pics thread and our photo album.

I can't stop GRINNING!!!!

Platform - That is so exciting! Nice work, and in the holiday season no less!

I am (supposed to be) calorie counting...I was doing so good this spring and summer, and just lost it...The fact that I haven't been exercising also kills my eating, because when I've worked out, I'm like "I did not just run 5km to waste it on {insert unhealthy food here}"

need to get my butt running again!!!! i finished a half marathon in october for goodness sakes, and now i can't even bust out 5km a few times a week??? UGH.

Skinny - Wow! Congrats on the half marathon! Do you do your own math in a journal or do you use a site like DailyPlate, SparkPeople, and FitDay? I find them helpful since you can also log your weight, measurements, and fitness. Others also suggest a food journal to see what you're eating and how much of it.

thanks! it was one of my "life goals"!

i had been using fitday, but with running so much, was able to relax a little and eye it...which probably got me in trouble...i guess back to fitday for me! do you think they have the calorie count on homemade pumpkin brownies with mocha frosting for breakfast?

Skinny- you can try looking on google. The other day I found a place where you can enter in your recipe and it's supposed to calculate the nutrition info in it. I can't find it at work but that may because of these stupid filters.

Mary - CONGRATS! I don't even know what a size 10 looks like LOL I'm looking forward to the day I can put my size 16 khaki pants back on. I think they run small though but those are the most comfy slacks EVER!!!! I remember having them when I moved and one day I decided to try them on and they fit and I about had a heart attack. YOU GO GIRL!!!!

I met with the principal. She was really nice and agreed with my concerns and said she had emailed the counselor explaining that she had been warned about this same situation twice before and that she better get it together...

The counselor didn't talk to me all day which was fine by me.

Unfortunately Mary I am not that cool when I get mad. I can't say things professionally. I have too much of a tongue on me and I am well aware of it so I choose to stay quiet rather than go off the handle.

Feral - You'll get into those slacks soon!!! The weird thing is, I was last a size 10 in like 7th/8th grade, but I'm pretty sure I weighted in the 150s or 160s then, and I'm hovering in the high 170s/low 180s right now. I'm glad the meeting went well and that the Principal agrees with you! I have that tongue gift too I'm amazed when I'm able to keep my cool with my Irish/Italian temper LOL!

Icon - ooh that's cool! It should come in handy for any recipes I write or can't find nutrition info for!! I tested it out and it works!! THAT IS SO COOL!

Icon - I think that may be it, but like I said - work filters. Not sure WHY but I can't open it here.

Mary
- Remember that muscle weighs more than fat. You may have weighed less when you could wear the 10 but you may not have been as lean as you are now since you're working out.

Skinny
- YES, unfortunately it all counts. We can't count it as 0 calories just because we don't want to count it. I wish we could... I'm sure we wish we ALL could, but that's kind of what got us in the place to begin with. Also, everyone on here is REALLY helpful for coming up with some kind of healthy alternative. You may want to see if you can find something similar or if anyone could help you come up with a new recipe.

Mary and Haley - Did you guys try those faux ice cream sandwiches?

Feral - That's true... GAH! I forgot about those!!! I haven't had a chance to go to the store for cool whip or graham crackers yet. I need to go there tonight to get a few things though, so hopefully I'll try them soon! I need something besides skinny cow ice cream for dessert lol!
