Hey guys, I'd love to join the Halloween challenge! My goal is to break out of the 160's by Halloween, with a specific goal of 158! That's about 4 pounds away. I may post here every other day or so to keep myself accountable! :-)
Well I did ok at the bar last night. I only had 1 glass of wine, but I also had a tiny spring roll, some chickpea soup, and salad that we ordered for the table. Oh, and in the interest of full disclosure, half a piece of the best pumpkin pie I've ever had. Oops. Still finished at 18 or 1900 calories for the day, so not bad. This morning I dragged myself out of bed and went to the gym. The scale there put me at 139 if I stood real still, lol.
Well I got up this morning and worked out for a bit but I was out late last night at a going away party for a friend so I didn't get that much sleep... and I ate some of this crazy cookie and ice cream dessert thing... but it was small and shared among four people so I'm not letting myself feel too guilty. Yesterday is over, move on with today.
I didn't get up this morning, but if I leave work at 4:30 I have enough time to do C2K before spinning. Or I could just do it tomorrow since that's my "rest" day and I had that yesterday. I feel better, and I weighed in at 198.8 this morning, which means I "lost" 2.8 lbs in a day. Or my body finally let go of all the traveling water retention. I'm still being super-careful, and I don't feel like death anymore, so I'm excited about working out.
I have been so bad and not even checked the forums in a while. I would like to join this challenge as well. there are about 4 weeks until Halloween so i plan to lose 5lbs. I am at 148 now so my goal will be 143. I just started walking/running more often, so that it good. I just need to focus on my eating (the hard part!).
SO this past week was definitely not a good one. I lost 0 lbs. I didn't gain any, I'm exactly the same...so I guess once I get to goal I've already got the maintenence down
This is probably going to make it hard to lose 10 lbs by halloween, but hey, I can still try right? lol.
Sorry I haven't been posting much, I'm super busy with work and school right now and I honestly don't have time for much else. I hope you're all doing great, and I can't wait to see everyone reach their halloween goals!
Okay, so my scale said 192.2 this morning /happy dance.
The 2 hours of working out last night may have helped that, and even though today is my "high points day" I'm going to try and keep it within my normal, daily total. I went spinning this morning, and actually had energy (weird). I'm spending all day today doing school work, and if I get to bed early enough I'll go spinning tomorrow and finish up day 3 of Week 2 C2K. I may repeat week 2 - its hard for me to breathe through 90 seconds of running, but that may be because of my recent illness.
Well today was a bit of a write off foodwise as there was a family dinner tonight, but I did get out for a run earlier. I just need to do better tomorrow.
I did ok yesterday; today I went to a cookout and ate a lot of goodies but I'm still within my calories. Nevertheless, that will probably mess me up for weigh in tomorrow.
Haha. So I did great yesterday, and good today, but I think all my exercising has caught up with me, because my metabolism is like I WANT FOOD. Yeah, I went over points, but I have some left as long as I behave tomorrow and Tuesday.
My laptop is in the dining room, off of the kitchen, and I keep getting up, going to my cabinet, and getting food. I was eating a chocolate bar, piece by piece. So I finished it, got up again, opened my cabinet, and my roommate goes GET AWAY FROM THE CABINET. I was like thank you Brian, thank you. Now I'm chewing gum.
I just joined the forum tonight, but I love this challenge so I want in! There are 4 weeks left now, so I think I'll go for...8lbs. That will put me at 207. Here's hoping.
In! I will weigh in tomorrow and let you know. I would love to be 130 by halloween but I'll see what is realistic. Probably not more than 8 lbs and I bet 130 will be about 13 lbs away.
