Hi all! I hope you don't mind if i join this thread but I weighed this morning and am at 147 (I was at 150 on Monday). I am so happy to be back in the 140's!

Congrats Rblace on your loss! I'm 146.4 this morning. *shock* That's over 2 weeks at the same freaking weight, give or take fractions of a lb. But I'm soooo bloated, and I don't know why. My ring has become the measure of the degree to which I'm bloated, since when I retain water... my fingers are the most obvious thing to swell. Trying to take my ring off this morning almost made me cry, it was so tight. I'm drinking a TONNE of water today to try to combat the bloat... my TOM isn't coming up for another couple of weeks, so I don't think it has anything to do with that. Maybe I've just been inadvertently eating things that are more sodium-infested than I realize...? I'm changing up my eating patterns a bit today (just changing, not upping or lowering calories), in the hopes that it'll shock my body into submission. We'll see! Hope to see a better number tomorrow... |

rblace87: That's awesome! I'm so excited for you! Jelbb: It sounds like maybe you're having too much sodium. Do you know if you have any allergies or intolerances? I'm allergic to a lot of food (painful stomach upset allergic, not anaphylactic allergic), and when I eat something with too much of those things, I become very painfully bloated. Like, visibly bloated. |
145.4 this morning...yeay. My goal is to be 135 by 16 September. So...that's 4 weeks to lose 10 pounds. That may be a bit ambitious, but I REALLY want to look good when I see my friends from back home after more than a year away. Time to do some crunches!!

Perhaps I was celebrating too soon. I had an almost 3 POUND GAIN overnight :( weighing in at 143. This is definitely my first down fall. I'm hoping I'm just retaining water because I did have a decent amount of sodium yesterday. If it's not that, I'm baffled as to what it may be. Anywho, I'm going to keep on keepin on and try my best to get back on track.

Weighed in at 147.8 yesterday, which is the same weight I've been at (give or take .4 lbs) for the last two weeks.
Then this morning I weighed in at 145.6. Now I'm just going to hope and pray that I stay there instead of popping back up! |
rblace87: last month I had a four pound gain overnight (from 152-156), and I had to fight my way back down, but don't worry, I think it happens to a lot of us.

rblace87: It's probably water. I don't think it's possible to gain that back in such a short period of time.
RubyGuggenheim: Congrats! I was 145.4 this morning, but I'm going to wait a few days before changing my ticker. Last week I was 146.0, and that seems like it's too good to be true, especially since I only worked out 4 days this week. |
