I am so determined to get out of the 170s this week especially because I'm going to visit my sister in NYC for 8 days/7 nights. Ugh.. Need a good # before I step on the plane so I can FOCUS on staying in the 160s. How horrible if I flush all my hard work down the drain because of a vacation.
well, after doing the short distance run several times on the wii, and doing the island run as well, and going for a 30 min walk, and being so active...
my weight jumped back up to 176.0. Booo! Although, I can feel my muscles swollen with water, so I am sure that is what it is!

After a week long trek through some cold cold cities, down to 174.5!
This is the lowest I remember having been in quite some time. I definitely remember being about 160 through most of high school and thinking that 150 would be a great weight. However the jump from 160 to about 185 seems to have happened overnight. I would be SO happy to get out of the 170s before Christmas.

I saw 169.5 this morning BUT I will be sticking around longer because it's not official weigh-in ~ and I don't want to be flip-flopping between 2 threads hehe
jendiet - It'll come off for sure. I hate water weight TOM is next week so I'm gonna deal with that too. Another reason to stay put in this thread for now lol..
PiedPiper - congrats on a great weigh - in . We will push through the holidays and come out feeling awesome and looking awesome hehe
well after the scale was 177.0 yesterday, it was back down to 175.2 today...woohoo something is working....
I gardened for my exercise today. And I hit goal for my activity level. I'm so tired though. I hope to be down more tomorrow.

piper, it feels so good to be so low from what you remember. I was 20 lbs heavier last year. So I am pretty happy with my success--now I just want to keep the good trend up!
so i confess.... i did a little victory dance in my underwear this morning on my scale... for the past three weeks i've been stuck at 174/175... my last weigh in was last friday and i was about 174 (granted it was right before TOM)... this this wknd i went on a huge binge... feeling so sick about myself, i decided to do lower carb this week. i still ate fruits and the higher carb veggies, but i just didnt eat breads or pasta (even whole wheat)... well i weighed in this morning expecting 174/175 due to my sunday binge, but to my shock (and yes i stared at it for five minutes, getting on and off multiple times) and it said 170!!! I couldn't believe it!

Weighed in at 169 today! It's not official until monday weigh-in though so I won't stay off course. I'll be sticking around in this thread a little bit longer! I hope to see some of you joining me in the new decade
I found out my sister has a gym in her apartment in NYC so I can work out while I visit her next week! <insert huge sigh of relief> I'm packing my gym clothes and going to go at least 1 hour a day in the morning.
Hi all. I'm Kat. I too have the "170s" blues so I figured I'd jump into this thread for a little while.. I've been fighting through the 170s since October, I think. My goal is to hit 170 by Thanksgiving..but November has been a month of Up, Down, Up, Down...between being sick with the flu and taking more than 2 weeks to recover (and being out of the gym all that time) and having a period of falling off the diet wagon over the past week, my weigh in this morning said 172. Frankly I was expecting 174 or so.
So, this week I'm going to kick it up a notch. While I doubt I'll make my Thanksgiving goal, I sure intend to try...and be as close as possible.
Kat - I know you can do it!! You just have a little bit more, and I'm sure you can get there! Remember to drink plenty of water and eat your fruits and veggies!!!

Hi ladies!!! Today was official weigh in and the scale read 168 lbs!
I think it is time for me to move to the 160s thread to push myself NOT to gain weight this week on my trip to NYC.
You guys have been so wonderful and I hope to see you girls join me soon in the new decade. I will most likely peak in and chat from time to time because I don't want to lose touch with you guys!!!
