Good ideas ladies.

I need help! I just started dating a guy about a month ago - it's going awesome, it's long distance so we spend the weekends together. Do I get him something? Do I just have dinner.... Do I even suggest anything? Hmmmm

My bf and I don't celebrate V-Day but I was still thinking about buying him something anyway. I think I may buy him a sterling silver ring. Anyone have any good websites/suggestions as to where I could get him one?!

I plan on combining the present for VDay and our 2nd anniversary and getting him Slipknot concert tickets.

We have to travel five hours to go but it'll be well worth it. If I can manage it he'll probably pee his pants with excitement.

haha, I've heard that before! But since I'm buying him a really nice one, maybe that can mean our relationship will last a really long time, like the watch! haha. I'm just making stuff up.

Slipknot has by far been one of the craziest concerts I've ever been to. I saw them on the side stage at Ozzfest... thank goodness I had 2 guys with me. The pit broke out literally a foot and a half in front of me and they both jumped in front of me so I wouldn't get pulled in. You guys are going to have a BLAST!

My man is getting 2 nights in a jacuzzi room, uninterrupted with a ridiculous amount of alcohol, BW3 (his fav), and me in some sexy lingerie..... for the first time ever. RAWR!!!!! I guarantee he will have a smile on his face for weeks to come.

(Wow, that sounds a little conceded. Sorry! )

I don't know if I am going to do anything. My Husband and I stopped buying each other presents for V-day years ago. This year because we got married and bought a house we didn't buy anything for each other for Christmas we just used the money to buy cool stuff for the house.

Actually we are both busy v-day and might not celebrate. Although I feel like maybe another night I will make him a nice dinner and give him a massage.

We kind of transformed into hippies a few years ago in the sense that we don't really believe in buying each other expensive presents like diamonds (which I don't believe in getting either lol.. I'll save that rant for later) or flowers and I definately don't need any chocolate.

So what I am saying is time, I will set aside a special night and give time to the one I love.

I was able to get tickets this morning and he's totally excited. We're too old to get in the pit these days. I have issues being jammed that close in with people; I tend to start to hyperventilate and it's all downhill from there.

Fifteen years ago my husband so would've been in the middle of the action but he's turning 37 this year and had knee surgery last year... The pit is a no go. But we'll have such a great time anyway.

I love Etsy.com. My friend bought me two necklaces off there for Christmas and I adore them!

But I'm taking him out and buying him Flyer's shoes. Last year he got Pittsburgh Penguins since there were no such thing as Flyer's shoes...But this year they came out with a create-your-own team shoe and you can customize the colors the way you like and add their initials, etc.

^ a manspa! lol sounds good, why not?

I have no clue. Neither of us need anything, really, although I guess it'd be nice to do something. For no reason, I bought a heartshaped mug (yes, its impractical) last year.

My partner is a florist, so I never do anything on the actual day of V-day...well, usually I end up delivering flowers all day.

The weekend after, we're going to a hotel in Sonoma for wine tasting, spa appointments, and a cooking class.
