Lizzie- You ARE doing the right thing! You need to be healthy and happy if you want your daughter to grow up that way And once it gets warmer you can even go for walks/runs and take her with.

As far as potty training goes...we both times have gone straight to underwear. Both times they were going on the potty within a week (they really just dont like feeling that wet). If it had been warm enough when we were doing it though I would have done like someone else did and just let em run around nekkid and bring the potty in whichever room we were in.

so my little girl just ate a tube of pink mary kay lipstick... that was an interesting call to poison control!

gratefully she'll likely have no side effects other than pink diarrhea until it's out of her system...

how is your day going?!

My name is Jennifer. I am a SAHM. my little girl is 3 and her name is is Alex(andra). I have a hard time getting to exercise too. she doesn't sit still at all! sometimes she does yoga while i use my elliptical machine. if she takes a nap.. there is usually a reason and i end up taking one too! My husband says he will help watch her, but it doesn't work out because he works midnight and by the time her gets up we eat dinner, do dishes and seems like the night is over!

Hey Ladies (and Gents, if I missed you!) I'm Emily and I'm 26 years old with 3 kids. I have a 7 year old named Jacob, a 7 month old named Edward, and a 13 year old step-daughter named Jazmine. So I have my hands FULL.

Lizzie,
You are doing the right thing. I know exactly how you feel. I worked full time as well, and I only had 2 hours with my daughter (home at 5, she's asleep by 7). I would get home, cook dinner, clean up, and then only have 45 minutes of quality time for myself. By then, I was completely exhausted. Since I woke up at 5:15, getting up earlier wasn't an option.

It's hard to balance everything, so I try to sneak time for me here and there. Is there any chance you could work out after she goes to sleep? I know you'll feel sleep deprived for a little while, but once your body gets used to the change in schedule, it won't seem as bad.

Good luck!

Oh BTW, I am very excited because Hannah starts her first swim lesson tommorrow! At an indoor pool of course, but it really wouldn't matter since the high here in Houston today is 79 degrees!!
