ok, my official weigh in is: 146


good morning!! hope everyone is feeling motivated. i woke up this morning wanting to lay around in bed and just eat snacks. but i thought about this team, and it actually motivated me not to give in to silly temptations, like unneccesary snacking, not lounging. i'll still prolly do lots of that today. heh

Morning y'all! Hey stellart, good to see another team member...Uhhh so I'll be team leader...? That's fine with me if it's good with you girls, I don't really care either way. Carcar, it'd be great if you could make up a logo

So, after giving it some thought last night I am going to start on WW flex. I've used points before and it's helped a lot, I don't really know why I ever stop, probably just get sick of it. I've never been to WW but I have a book and a point thingy that my friend (whose mom went to WW lol) gave me. ANYWAY. WW, 30DS and working my butt off at fulltime job and fulltime school will will probably result in losing some weight.

A few things to know about me...I am starting work at a gym this morning, helping people with fitness tests, weight training etc and hopefully am going to get some training for myself, maybe leading to teaching classes? I am an avid calorie counter, I seem to be able to remember the calories, grams of fat, and grams of fibre in pretty much any label I read. I just switched to a new BC pill and am concerned that it's making me hold onto weight (as I have been gaining despite daily exercise and healthy eating). I am concerned that this is my biggest issue with weight loss in the very short term.

Strengths: Extensive nutritional knowledge (I'm a nerd), interest in health, optimistic

Weaknesses: My schedule is really full right now and I'll probably use that as an excuse not to exercise (I can already see this might be an issue), prone to stress related binges (but have been getting a lot better over the last 6 months)

STARTING WEIGHT: 140lbs
GOAL WEIGHT: 125lbs

Also, I thought, if I am team leader (if I'm not, I'll zip it) then if you want in the first post at the top of the first thread I could put our weights (starting and goal) as well as strengths/weaknesses or anything else, just so if other team members pop up there's easy access to it.

Carey, that would be great if u were team leader!!

so let me share a bit about my diet/exercise regime..
Basically, im calorie counting. Trying not to eat more than 1200 cals a day, which i think is fine considering im only 5'1"!! (although recently i've been going waaayyyy over, but that stops today!!)
I try to work out at least 5 days a week. I do workout dvds as its way too cold here to go out running and i cant afford a gym...
If i dont have time for a workout, i do sit ups and push ups etc, so i at least feel like im doing something beneficial!

Cant wait for the scale to move down again, i hate seeing it go up doesnt motivate me very much...

Hope the rest of the team show up soon.....

Hey all! I'm here!!!!

Carey I'm totally cool with you as team leader. And it's totally appropriate with you working at a gym I like the idea of putting stuff at the top.

Ok, so offical starting weight this morning was 205 (up 4 lbs from my last weigh-in - yuck!) but I think it's mostly water weight. I'm going to totally guzzle water this week and see if I can't get it back down. My ultimate goal is 150.

For exercise, I'm currently doing 30 Day Shred as well as jogging here and there.

For diet, I was counting calories, but I wanted to make it exact, and I can't, so I'm just tyring to eat less crap and smaller portions of food in general. I had stopped drinking pop all together a few months back, but now I'm back to at least one can/20 oz bottle of decaffinated fizzy beverage per day. I think in honor of keeping to this challenge, I'm going to give it up again save for sprite in my mixed boozy beverages that I have on occassion.

Strengths: Exercise is slowly becoming something I enjoy instead of loathe, so I've been doing it just about every day in one form or another, and I LOVE fruits and veggies.

Weaknesses: I have a bum ankle that gives me an easy excuse not to exercise, we just got 200 channels of satellite tv after having only a handful of channels for 2 years, so it's been tempting to be lazy and sit on the couch every night watching tv instead of being active. And in spite of my love of fruits and veggies, I also have an insatiable sweet tooth. Finally, I sit on my butt all day at work, and I work for a food brokerage, so we have lots of free food all over the place and NONE of it is healthy, and ALL of it is yummy.

I can't wait to get started! GO TEAM YELLOW!!

Just to make sure you got my weight... my starting weight is 172.6 and my ultimate goal weight is 135.

Let's DO THIS! WOO HOO!

Today I'm eating within my calories and I'm doing 30 Day Shred, and I plan to go mall walking with my little girl (it really is good exercise when you don't stop to shop! haha!)

I like the concept, but I think maybe it should say something about the biggest loser challenge on it? It's also kind of big if we want to put it in our siggy. Those are my 2 cents.

Ooh! I love this one. I still feel like there needs to be something about the biggest loser challenge on it, but that's just me. If we decide not to have that feature, I'm cool with it.

No I think you are right! How does this look, now?

Option 2 revised...



Is it too busy to have everyone's names on there? Let me know! I can add a border and size them down, I just didn't know what size they needed to be for signatures.

Let me know if you all like that one, I like it a lot better than the first option.
