As I had first feared going to the u/s, something happened to the baby at around 7 weeks. I was given medicine to miscarry on Thursday and am just now feeling better.
I haven't had a good feeling about this whole pregnancy and when my symptoms dissappeared a couple of weeks ago, I knew. I held on to hope since I didn't cramp or spot. Although we do mourn the loss (just when we were getting used to the fact of adding another one) it really is for the best for us since we have no extra room in our house right now and it wasn't a planned PG for us. I do want more children but not until we get a new house where we can fit the kiddos in it.
As for me and weightloss? I feel lost again. I had just gotten used to the idea of eating healthy for a pregnancy and now I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm trying to figure out a good eating plan for me and as soon as I stop cramping so bad will get back to walking.
Just worry about being HEALTHY right now as you go through this tough time, and don't worry about losing. You'll know when you're ready to tackle it again.
Dawnyal - I don't know you, but see your posts here and there. Your picture is so cute, you remind me of my DDIL also from OK...
I'm really sorry to hear of your loss. This isn't a time to worry with small details like calories. This is a time to be close to the wonderful family you do have. Take alittle time off and relax!
Dawnyal, (((((((((HUGS)))))))))) I'm sorry to hear about your families loss. Family time will help and then weight loss. Try not to rush things. We are here for you.
Oh Dawnyal, I'm so sorry. I was pregnant with my first and m/c'd earlier this year so I know how hard it is. As others have said, focus on yourself and your family first and then worry about weight loss. Although we don't know each other yet, I'm here for you if you need someone to lean on. You'll be in my thoughts.
((((HUGS)))) I am so sorry to hear this. I can only imagine how hard this is. I agree that you should just focus on getting yourself 100% and being with family and the weight loss will fall back into place when your ready.
I agree that now is not the time to be counting calories. In fact, after a miscarriage, it is a good idea to get some good fats into you -- avocadoes, olive oil, fish oil, etc. to replenish those fats in your body.
Peace be with you and your family during this time.
Oh Dawnyal, I'm so sorry for your loss. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts during this difficult time. You just concentrate on taking care of you right now and remember that we're here if you need us.
So sorry to hear about your loss, Dawnyal. As other folks have said already, focus on you now. The weight loss and everything else will fall into place.
