LOL you guys are soooooo funny, can excessive belly laughter count as exercise??? I am on a maintenance break this weekend. I am having more treats but keeping up with the exercise. I had a long walk with one of my friends and the dh this morning, and then went for a swim and a gym session, it was lovely (to celebrate my birthday) I have been a fairly good girl with the food today, except for some chocolate - but if you can't have chocolate on your birthday, when can you????

I'm in. Need to get a little forward momentum after the Memorial Day weekend (still recovering...sigh...) So I'm going to get in 5 miles on my treadmill each day and get back up to drinking 64 oz of water per day. Not too ambitious but it would be really, really nice to lose those next two pounds.

add me in as well. Going to just stay on plan under 2000 calories, 15-20 mins. exercise and 64 oz. water. We're hitting hte city wide yard sales tomorrow so I'll get in some extra walking.

Well, the weekend's pretty much over as far as I'm concerned...so, how did everyone do? I did what I set out to do, so I'm happy in that regard. Oh yeah, G wants Jennifer's address so he can send her his physiotherapy bills (I used my imagination as she suggested and tried out some "husband squats")

I had to work all weekend (still here in fact), I was so darn busy I don't think I ate ENOUGH!!! Took my day off from exercise yesterday (did my own version of husband squats though ) Today I walked 2 miles (round trip) to get a newspaper before work. We'll see...official weigh in is tomorrow morning!!!

I did pretty good with the exception of Friday night. My treat meal went way over. Today and Saturday were really good.

Enough about the husband squats people!!!

I have no forseeable prospect of any husband sqats whatsoever with my hubby somewhere in the north of the province, bravely battling fires......WWWWWAAAHHHHHH!!

I WANNA DO HUSBAND SQUATS TOOOOOO!

Meanies

Love you anyway! (And so concludes my whining session)

You will just have to use this time to go to the gym and become a super squater.

LOL Howie. I'd be afraid if I tried the husband squats I would collapse and hurt some of the equipment. I don't know what the recovery time would be for that though

I did great on Friday and Saturday and yesterday was a total washout but it was yesterday and I'm on to a new day

Dawnyal!!

Okay, so I'm really proud of myself. Being away from home and eating out is really hard for me, but I did great. The hotel included a full breakfast. Instead of eating the "hot" part of the breakfast, I ate fruit and a hard boiled egg. Lunches were shrimp cocktails while my DH had the clam chowder. I even had the server bring me a different salad at dinner because I asked for dressing on the side and she brought it "fully dressed." Drank tons of water and walked on the beach a bunch (got in that healthy indoor exercise that we're not supposed to talk about anymore, too ). So, it was a great OP weekend away from home and shows that I really can do it if I put my mind to it.

Great accomplishment, Sheila! I, too, struggle with being away and would love to come home after having a great time without saying "Yep, it was a blast...but I blew my plan to bits". Well, if you can do it, so can I (remind me of this at the end of July before I head off to another vacation, please!)

Smile Hi Everyone

Wow this place is jumping!

Never heard of ahem "squats" before.

Linda you are not alone-my bf and I have been together for about 11years. the last 10 with only hugs and kiss on the cheek. Amazingly we get along good, when I quit worrying about it - we are like the old couple that love each other but sleep in separate rooms. The LOVE is still there for you. Dwell on that. He's missing you too. Will pray for his safety.

Been doing pretty good, off meds and doing herbal and vitimins with docs approval. Ate too much of Memorial leftovers but back on now.
Lost a few more this way. Someone said they try to go to the 9s when they lose so that is my goal. From a highest weight of 279, now 269. My next goal is 259. saying good bye to 279 and Hi to 269 and hopefully in the not too distant future hello to 259. That will be my mini goals.

You and your wife, Howie, are an inspiration to me.

This thread is off the chain, too funny! I didn't partake in the weekend challenge, but I wish I did. Is there going to be another one? Oh and by the way no squats of any kind here
