I like it. I will have to start using that as goals. So 7 more pounds and I will be 26 stone. That will be my next goal. That is also going to be close to my actual goal of 54 lbs lost which will put me at 30% lost of the weight I have to lose.

Claire,

Thanks for the "stone" explanation. I've always heard Steve's british grandmother referring to "stones" and never knew what she was talking about..

See ya learn something new everyday!

Howie - I'lle be rooting for you for that next goal.....I feel like I have a vested interested now!

Celina - my pleasure for the explanation.....FYI, I think the origin of 'stones' is from way-back-when they used large rocks, pebbles, stones etc on scales to measure the weight of things......makes sense, huh?

Congratulations to all the losers! Great job!!!

I actually made up for last week (I experimented with eating my flex points and needless to say...I can't eat my flex points!). I lost a total of 6.8 this week! WOO HOO!

And I don't know if I was a little distracted over the gain last week or what but I'm finding that I may have messed up the lose a ton totals - so if you see anything that needs to be corrected let me know.

I finally lost 2 lbs this week! After 6 weeks of nothing I REALLY needed this.

My victory for the week was enjoying a going-away brunch my office held for me on Wednesday. Usually I avoid those things because I'm so strict with myself about what I eat. But this was in my honor so I had to go. I ate a tiny portion of everything that was there and did not feel guilty. Normally I would eat one bite of something and then punish myself for days later. Or I would completely stuff myself and then go home and cry because I felt so out of control. This time I controlled my portions and simply ate lower calorie food the rest of the day, and I felt fine.

I just lost in total 1 pound this week...

I'm hoping for a much bigger loss next week.. I'm only 5 lbs. away from getting out of the 250's... now there's a number I haven't seen in years.. 249

Hi everyone. I am just back from a two week vacation. I did a great deal of hiking, swimming and outdoor BBQ's with healthy choices. I thought I did okay but the scale shows only a 1 lb loss - but a pound is a pound and I am happy about that. I am reaffirming my commitment to get into the 260's in the next couple of weeks. I haven't been in the 60's in approximately 9 years so here it goes. Thank you to Gretchen for sharing her plan and good advise. Appreciated! Audrey aka Chequita Girl, where are you and how are you doing?
