FieryCupcake - I hope you had a better week! I know how it is to be sidelined with health issues. It is so frustrating!

Angie - Congrats on the 232! You are doing so well!

I'm at 21.4 today. Still on track to be outta here before my May goal even with my crazy fluctuations. Must.Stay.Focused.

Have a great weekend!

Can I jump in here? I haven't posted here in a long time, but I really need to lose weight. I'm around 230 (haven't weighed in a few days) and have had some health scares recently. Two days ago I saw some photos of myself taken in February and I am so embarrassed. I need to find a way to lose weight. Will be starting Trim Healthy Mama again starting today.

Welcome Kathy! I'm so sorry to hear about your health issues. Wishing you the best of luck on your journey!

I was surprised to see 219.8 this morning on the scale. I'm not going to leave this thread yet though because I'm expecting an uptick. I kept my calories way too low last week which was great for moving the scale down, but not sustainable. I also rarely eat sugar, but had some this morning so between that and the raise in calories, the scale probably won't be happy.

Have a great week!

Hi, I haven't posted in a long time but I'm currently 230 or 229 depending on the day. I'm determined to do it this time! I was actually stood up for a date last weekend and after crying for a while, I was angry and determined to get in shape. I'm just tired of being overweight and I want to feel good about myself again. I'm starting the 21 day reset by Brad Davidson. I went grocery shopping last night but have to pick up a few more things tonight and I should be set.

Got down to 222.2 yesterday, up to 223 today due to TOM and yesterday being my cheat day. I'm so close to getting out of the 220's, can't wait to be on my way to onederland!

Can I say hello? I am 235 - had hit 230, but had some medical issues come up. I have been glad to see my scale did not go all the way back with all the craziness associated, but 5 lbs up from where I was before it all started in January, well I will just have to battle back. Do any of you have words of motivation to restart? I am trying to begin with my calorie counting today ALL day, and looking to get back to my recumbent bicycling by this weekend as long as all things are good via the doctor.

Me - I am an older mom of younger kids, I SAH, live in a place that is mighty rural (finally getting to spring time weather, hopefully the snow is all done!) and have struggled with getting the weight off. I like all sorts of crafts/activites and am beginning once again to see the joy of the outside world through my little ones eyes, which makes it fresh for me.

Hope I can join you all and get on out of these two decades, it will be a long time coming!

Hey Lemonthyme! I would say don't be hard on yourself and don't let setbacks hold you down. Take it one day at a time, if you slip up don't beat yourself up over it, just get back on it. I take it 1 day at a time and I'm focusing on 10lbs at a time rather than the overall, if I focus on how much is left I get really bummed and discouraged but when I focus on just the 10lbs I'm currently working on it doesn't seem so bad. Good luck! You can do it!

Fiery: thanks for the reminder! I know if I look at the big number it seems very daunting. I think right now, I am just focusing on the 5 lbs first. That will take me back to 230, which has been my achilles heel for some time. I get there, bounce back and forth etc. So this time, w/the medical out of the way, I'd like to leave it in April if I can and not look back.

Hello Outta's:

It's exciting to read you all loosing and having success. I aim to join you. Today I have done pretty well, always hard to jump right back at calorie counting, but I do know it works if I stick to it. I have chicken ready to throw in the oven and a lot of veggies I am steaming to go with it.

Do any of you have a go to food during the week that you like to prepare that's easy on the budget and time? I am up for all sorts of suggestions, it dawned on me that sometimes I tire of my usual fare.

Good luck on nice numbers tomorrow!

Still at 235, did not get to the gym last night, as I was working on a special dress for DD. Aim to tonight and just get it moving. I also aim to get my 99 oz of water into me today like it or not.

Do any of you have struggles some days with water consumption? What do you do to change that?

Lemonthyme - I bring a water bottle to work and try to drink it all by lunch or early afternoon, and fill up another bottle for the afternoon/evening. It's one of the bottles with the oz. marked so I can keep track of what I'm drinking.

And for food to prepare for the week, chicken is my go to currently. I've been eating lots of vegetables and protein, and having a large green smoothie for breakfast. Nothing fancy, but it just simplifies things.

Down to 225.2 this morning.

I've just gotten my 66 oz of water in before lunch. Water used to be a good habit for me when I was working. Have gotten away from it as my day gets busy and I am running w/my kids. No excuse though, perhaps it will be easy enough to get it back into my routine.

My go to for breakfast has been a hardboiled egg, string cheese and depending on the day a 1/2 piece of fruit or 1/2 and english muffin w/a bit of peanut butter. If I keep my carbs in check i usually do a bit better holding on until lunch.

What do you all do for exercise?
