I seem to sabotage myself. I get to a goal and then I let up a little bit and go back up. I then continue to lose but it seems like every goal I make that I have set out I lose that goal the next week and have to work at it again.

I was MIA yesterday but did not mean I wasn't taking care of me. I ate on pllan and walked 2 miles. So far today I'm on task. I will be doing my workout after dinner. I feel so empowered.

So, yesterday, I did my water aerobics class and C25K. I told my husband that Jesus jogged the last 3 minutes of it and that he did pretty good but got winded at the end. I seriously didn't think I was going to make it. Pathetic that I can't jog for 8 minutes straight without almost passing out! The first 8 I jogged I was ok but the second one? OH MY!!! Stayed on plan but was a little off on water intake. I did see a small drop this morning.
No way I'll make goal with the way things are going....and I already adjusted my goal once. Oh well.

I didn't get my workout done because I just didn't do it...bad but not horrible because I stayed on track with my calories. I'm on track with my calories today so far. All be doing my workout today because my "tiny coach" (my six year old daughter) has reminded me about four times that we got to workout today.

I will check in later this evening before bed to report my success for today.

I've just joined 3FC, but I love this idea of mini challenges. I would like to join in for the last four weeks.

I'm gonna keep track of where this thread is but I've been sick and not able to focus on my exercise and diet but only on recovery. So I will join in sometime during the challenge when I feel better.

everyone! Well, I just returned late last night from a conference in Southern California. It was sunny, beautiful and 75 degrees every day. In spite of the gloomy weather I returned to I'm happy to be home. The conference was good but I definitely feel weighed down by too much sitting and too little activity. I did make it to the hotel gym one night and ran/walked almost three miles. Today I feel bloaty most likely due to conference food but also my TOM is due any day now. I'm still debating about whether I'll do a weigh-in on Monday. We'll see.

Looks like there were some good losses and renewed commitments to personal goals while I was away. That's great to see Count me in with the renewers

Here's to a great weekend and new week!

Jill I have those bounce ups also. It's like my body is afraid to go to the next number You'll break through soon Keep your head up, You'll make goal, maybe not when you expect but I'm sure sooner than you think Lady an 8 minute jog is GREAT Don't be so hard on yourself. I can't jog for 2 minutes ... you're doing great

Howie, I wonder if we just get too excited about being so close to that goal?? With me usually if I don't see the weight on weigh in day, it will usually appear just not when I needed it to (if that makes sense)

curvynotlumpy, I've been renewing every week. Do weigh in tomorrow. If it's not what you'd like/expect next weeks will be better

I got to the gym today for the first time in 6 months and felt good except for sore shins when I tried to do the incline heights that I use to do and the speed. I'll get there again

I was excited to step on the scales this morning. I've been working harder the last couple weeks on my weight loss and being more conscious of what I'm putting into my body. I started logging my daily intake on myfitnesspal. I even passed up macarons this weekend and put in a whopping 35km over Saturday and Sunday.

I woke feeling incredibly bloated this morning and when I stepped on the scale the same number from my last weigh in glared back at me. Getting out of the 250s is proving to be a monumental task. I'm stepping up my game this week and pushing past this little hiccup.
