The rain has stopped and the roads are open so it s much easier to get around.
Monday all the kids will go back to school.
The grass is getting greener in the yard and my plants are growing.
My soaps are returning !

I'm grateful that my little one is so excited about baseball opening day.

I'm grateful for the fact that I just finished one full-week on plan. Only three to go to meet my first mini-goal.

I grateful for the fact that it is a sunny day.

I'm grateful that I FINALLY feel ready to stop researching and start writing.

Happy that the little one got three runs from three at bats at his very first baseball game. He was SO EXCITED.

Love the spring weather.

+ a great Syrup Festival despite rotten cold weather

+ the first daffodils are in bloom as are my scillas

+ my Gardiner-on-the-Go cleared off and tidied my front flower beds

+ nice volunteer appreciation luncheon at the nursing home today

+ absolutely no MUST-dos on my list for tomorrow

+ fresh line-dried sheets on the bed tonight

- three of the little neighborhood kids helped me get some things put away in the gated garden. They each made a quick quarter for a few minutes work and were thrilled. Me too.

Had a wonderful chat with an old friend yesterday.
Little one enjoying baseball so much! Love to see him out cheering with the boys.
My DH took little one to school today so I could stay home.
Excited about my trip tomorrow.

- my friend, Mimi, got me some cute plant containers at the thrift shop just because she thought I'd like them. That was thoughtful.

- DH is will get to dine with Erika & Nancy today and Rachel tomorrow. That's so nice.

+ daffodils are blooming at the Church and my rhubarb is finally showing

+ long and helpful interview with my new pharmacist yesterday afternoon

+ chicken stock simmered overnight and my house smells wonderful this morning

+ meeting tonight re flowers for the Village planters - budget is $3K!!!

* being able to rearrange the bills to be able to get 1 paid and have some left for household needs since the dh cut the $$ short for the week.

* Taking a trip today. Will miss the little one, but am so happy to get this piece of work done.
* I think I finally had the courage to quit my day job! I've been hanging on to a few contract hours and I think it's time for me to let it go.
*Am looking forward to the next few months, immersing myself in writing-- my favorite part of the process.
* Grateful that I have refound the strength to stay on plan.
