I was on 3FC several months ago and just wasn't quite ready to embrace weight loss. Well, I am now! I've had steady loss for 5 weeks now and I think I've got some great tools in place. I'm sure there will be up and downs - but I've got my eye on my goal and for the first time, I actually think I could do it!
Time to start again. Too many cookies for the holidays! Found some of those pounds I thought I lost! I tossed the left over cookies in the trash! (Hard to do, as I have been enjoying them several times a day!). I was doing so good, then my schedule got screwed up with a new job, Thanksgiving, vacation, Christmas... It's a good time to put forth some effort again!
Well, I sure am not making it to the 220s this way! I keep GAINING weight, in spite of the fact that I am staying on plan and working out like crazy. ARGH come ON scale... move the other way!!! LOL
Misti, we're gonna get through this! I've been MIA during the holidays. I really wish now that I would have checked in and stayed on track. 1 step forward, and 2 steps back... You're doing great!

Yes we are!! The disgusting thing for me is that all through Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year, I DID stay on track and did not "pig out" even one time!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr But I will not give up!
Hang in there!! Forget those backward steps and just keep on moving forward.

I feel like a bit of a brat for even letting this get to me! I've had 7 straight days of losses from .4 to even 2.1lbs a day. Popped on the scale today and gained .9. Every morning I got on the scale, I prepped myself with little gains are JUST fine and it always comes way back down in a couple days. I also am coming up on the start of a new cycle - so surely that'll play a part. But I was a tiny bit disappointed with the .9 gain. :-/
Im sure not weighing myself everyday would help with the little disappointments but I think the focus weighing everyday gives me is worth the tiny disappointments. I just need to remember that my part is to stay focused and make good choices in my eating habits and let the scale take care of itself! Right? Right.
