Beverley - I am about to go out and label plants for our plant sale. I said this is the last year for me too!

+ got some plants purchased for the Village planters

+ Robyn and I got six half barrels and two flower boxes planted yesterday

+ the Town Hall is beautifully decorated for The Mad Hatters Tea Party

+ Donna is going to go back to work at the Diner - she needs the extra $ but also the people contact

+ the first of the wild phlox is starting to bloom

+ glorious sunshine for the whole of this hectic weekend

Hi Dawny & Timetolose!

- Today is the plantswap. I am grateful to have founded such a wonderful community gathering. I've decided that it's my last year doing this. (eleven years) Mimi, too. Some other nice ladies will carry on. I've received countless wonderful plants. But, I've also made some very good friends. I am grateful for this, as well.

It's so nice to see more chicks joining us in this thread. Seeing the gratitudes of others makes us think of our own.

Today I am grateful for:

+ a most successful year and plant sale at the Church yesterday - no leftover plants

+ the Mad Hatters Tea Party was well-run and well-attended and I didn't have to do a darn thing except enjoy

+ today is a "should me not" day - I am even skipping Church

+ huge crop of asparagus picked yesterday

+ I have a patch of morels in the lane - the first since 1998

+ I have several volunteers for the Pet Therapy Booth at the Expo on June 8

+ today I can firm up plans for my end of June trip to NJ and PA

+ sunshine and hot weather for the next few days and a manageable schedule

+ absolutely NOTHING in my calendar until Tuesday morning
