Rennie, I'm sending a big old bucket of will power in your direction! I had an OP day today so I have some to spare.

I'm so glad Chelle is home and you had a wonderful weekend with your family!

Hi Everyone!

I had a busy day, so I won't be able to do personals. My Mom is doing another round of chemo this week. She has appointments on M,T, & W. I was up at 5 AM this morning so I could go with her. So, I'm getting sleepy, already. They changed her anti-nausea meds. She got home after her appointment and took her meds. Then she called me back up for us to go eat dinner. This is great news and I hope the new meds continue to work for her. The other meds were not working for her.

Yesterday I felt miserable all day, after eating off plan. I was so glad to be back on plan today. I love to eat off plan, but enjoy getting back to the norm because of how bad I feel. I don't know if I will ever figure out this moderation thing. Hopefully I will. If not, I will just keep doing the best I can.

Have a great evening and sleep well.

eek. I keep doing well for a few days, see the scale going down, and then get relaxed and eat a bit more the following days. I've got to stay consistent and stop self-sabotaging my efforts!!

Morning all! I had a perfectly OP day yesterday, then I went to bed and had a dream about baking cookies and eating loads of them. I woke up and had to reassure myself that I hadn't actually cheated. SAD.

But hey, I broke the 195 barrier after nearly a week! I'm at 194.6 today. Pretty excited about that.

Have a great day, everyone.

Good morning! I'm down 3lbs of sodium/water/chocolate this morning and all settled in for an on plan day.

Kwigg -- No experience with that movement myself. It's great to explore all kinds of ideas and learn through trial and error what works (or doesn't) for you.

ChouKoe -- Nice 4lb drop!

REnnie -- I'm glad to hear that Chelle is home What is next for her? I'm going to aim to be at 212 by the time I leave for Disney on the 20th -- it's a lot, but i know I have lots of water weight here, and when I hit my plan hard it really works. I dropped 3lbs last night after one on plan day, and I hope I have another big loss tomorrow. I've started bike riding with Cam, and that's working some muscles that I had forgotten I had . Once I"m back from Disney I'll aim for 2lbs per week, and I'm not allowing myself a grace period when I get back. Once we are in Toronto again it's back on plan, vacation time over -- I think I just have to hold myself more accountable and be a little stricter. Any encouragement is welcome...it's always good to be 'in it' with someone else.

Diana -- I'm glad to hear your mom's meds are working and that she had some appetite. You've been doing great, I'm so impressed with how you've held on to your maintenance range through all your reactions and stress over your mom's health.

Amanda -- Want to be your own drill sergeant along with me...or I could lend you Cameron; he's telling me he wants to see 60 minutes of exercise out of me each day!

Caroline -- Congratulations on getting to 194! I've had food dreams too...lol.

Hey y'all

Despite my healthy eating during the day, hubby brought food home last night so that I didn't have to cook after my first day. I maintained at 191.5, but I could have been down if I had cooked something myself. Oh well, it's a new day, I brought my lunch into work today and snacks as well. I'm definitely going to have to cook my own dinner tonight, and need to make sure I get a workout in as well. I haven't had a really good burn in a long time.

TOM is over so it's time to get with the program. I have been bouncing around at the beginning of the months, struggling through TOM and the cravings that go with it and then I lose in the second part of the months. I think I'm getting comfy like AKA was saying. I see the scale drop at the end of the month and get relaxed right when the cravings kick in at the beginning of the next month.

Yesterday I was so upset, crying, praying about our little friend that I didn't eat anything until 7 at night. Then I realized I'd done all I could do and he's in Jesus' hands so I'm trying to lay my burden down and have faith in whatever the outcome is. It's hard though because we didn't hear anything from his mom yesterday... I hope no news really is good news

I have an energy burst today so I'm getting my house in order and will probably start working on stuff for Robbie's b-day cake. I have a seasonal room that needs to be cleaned up for his party and I need to do a yard sale as soon as the weather permits so I'll be sorting, not just throwing stuff in the basement

Oh, I signed up for the biggest loser challenge thread. They divide everyone up into 2 teams and weigh in once a week. They have threads for support throughout the week and suggest exercise challenges (this is my understanding anyways) Then they announce the biggest loser for the week and the overall team winner for each week and then at the end of 13 weeks they have the grand totals. The deadline for signing up is Apr.22. I wanted to mention it in case anyone here wants to do it too.

thistoo on your new break through!!

Diana I'm glad u got some sleep yay for .2 down!

Larry sorry about the wrong direction, but we all know it happens as a part of the way our bodies work so don't get discouraged! You can lose it again, probly as quickly as it came

Rennie I love you girl!! I'm so happy Chelle is home! on your family's baptisms plz let me know if there is anything I can do to help you get back on the wagon, you too Angie

My sister and I have a nickname for that feeling we get when we have the push to actually get the weight of, the IT factor. We can't figure out how to get IT, but we know we need IT to get the job done. I forced myself to have IT with a challenge at the beginning of the year with my sisters, now I'm trying to have IT just because I need IT! So if there's something I can do to help someone get their IT factor going, let me know!

I am back at work today so at least I am getting a chance to sit down - . I am absolutely exhausted and my nightmare move is not yet over. I am taking Friday off to try to finish things up. The hired movers got a lot done on Sunday, but not everything. I even managed to get some "grandma time" with the boys on Sunday - some naptime snuggling, then a simple dinner in the new backyard and some serious bubble blowing/bubble chasing. I do know I am going to LOVE my new house - although I can tell it will be one of those houses that doesn't maintain temperatures well (hopefully the utilities won't be too bad). The bedrooms are all big so my grandsons' room will also be their playroom and my craft room is going to be amazing. I have a lot of work ahead of me to weed out stuff and get everything organized, but once the old house is completely empty and my keys are turned in I'm just going to breathe for a few days/weeks before I really start tackling the stuff that will be piled in my garage.

I hope everyone had a good Easter. Thanks for all the well wishes!

Default Day 3

So today the scale was at 176.1. I got some walking in yesterday which felt really good.

1. 178
2. 176.4
3. 176.1

I noticed that many folks here seem to use the same list to do their daily weigh in but I can't figure out how to come back to the same post. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have a great day folks!

Good Morning All!

I'm so sorry I've not been around. I've been crazy busy with college work. I have a big presentation and I'm not even vaguely ready. I hope it'll calm down a little by Friday and I'll be able to be back to doing personals on here but for now I'm just gonna share my numbers!

Have a great day all!!

No loss since the 4th, but I count that as a victory! I was out of town for 5 days, 4 of which were in Vegas. I don't think I have ever left Vegas without GAINING 2+ pounds. I survived 3 buffets and tempting alcoholic slushies. Now that I'm back, I'm ready to get back on plan.

Kukkie -- Good job on maintaining!

Kelly -- Thanks for mentioning the biggest loser, I wanted to join as well. Yes, it's my IT factor that has been lacking...I'm working on IT.

Kris -- It sounds like things are looking up for you at the new house...did you go with one that is closer to your grandkids?

Amanda -- You just summon your inner drill sergeant and don't let yourself get away with things...and then scream at yourself to do better. 'You're too tired to exercise soldier!? You weren't too tired to eat that twinkie, you weren't too tired to nap on Saturday! Get out there, get your shoes on and run! Double time!!' == something along those lines...lol

to everyone else!
