Hi, friends at 3FC! I have not checked in here in awhile but plan to get started. I am caring for my father who is in his last days. I lurk here when I can but really am feeling the need to get involved again.
Hello Cheryl - I don't know you either, but I am sorry to hear about your Dad. That must be quite a process to experience with him.
Good morning all. For a Friday, I already feel a little out of sorts. Time for some gratitude and to get into a productive day!
This morning I am grateful for...
...a world larger than me and my funk.
...a new day to do differently.
...every little thing I hope I have learned about myself.
...my house, my car and my father.
...a clean house since I wasn't sleeping anyway.
...working heat on a cold morning.
...a day full of stuff to keep me on track.
+ my son with autism making great progress!
+ the privilege of working with Extreme Home Makeover Knoxville today
+ trying on some of my "favorite" shirts and realizing that I'll never wear
them again (OH MY GOSH...I could have fit 2 of me in them!)
+ having our no interest loan actually PAID OFF with no interest! : )
+ watching the scale keep going down
+ having the deposit to book a cruise for October 2012...realizing I will
have lost 100 pounds by then (Lord willing!)
+ for a wonderful "best friend" for my son. He's waited so long!
Good morning and Happy Birthday Ruth! Reading your gratitude makes me impressed with the weather you have to deal with. And hello Change4life. That is great news about your son with both his new friend and his progress. That has to be very special to your heart.
Meanwhile it is raining and I am hoping for no snow tonight. Even though I shouldn't complain about it (comparatively) and I will have to find something good about it. Ha!
This rainy Saturday morning I am grateful for...
...a car that continues to work for me, a house, and my father.
...a day in which all the plans fell apart but I still got a lot done.
...my sister for being there for me.
...a fun workout class! And I normally don't like classes!
...a nearly completed assignment.
...a pretty efficient day planned that should be lower stress.
...compassion, forgiveness, and HOPE!

* for the awesome individual who has helped me in my career
* for my beautiful children
* for reaching DAY 5 of my restart.
* for the two red foxes I saw in my yard this morning.
