ParadiseFalls - I like it a lot, but it's hard. When you decide to do it, be prepared to be sore the entire first week and part of the second. There are things that I can't do (or as the trainer says, there are things I "presently struggle with"), but the program is good about showing you modified versions and giving you options. I have been trying to embrace the program's mantra: "Do your best and forget the rest." Honestly, I love it, but it's not easy. You need to be able to dedicate about an hour and fifteen minutes every day, and if you fall off the wagon, it's **** getting back on.
Diana - Nice loss! Bulletproof Heart - I'm sure you'll see a loss tomorrow to make up for keeping the status quo today. :) |
I wasn't going to include this, but I'll just start cheating all the time if I don't have a little accountability. I had cake last night, and I didn't even look to see how many calories were in it. I didn't really like it, but I ate it anyway. Starting tomorrow (since I will be out of the fancy bread that I bought), I will be moving on to a low(er) carb diet. Let's see how that goes with calorie counting.

I am having KILLER cramps today. It's probably because I had a lot of sodium and drank in excess yesterday. BLEH. Sitting at 173 now.
|
I'm up .6 to 170.4. I'm also having a very bad digestive system day :(

Diana, Congrats!
I'm always amazed at how well you keep yourself within a tight calorie count. I can easily range between 1200-1600 and you seem to keep it pretty much around 1400 plus your coffee! You always have a great loss and I know it's not just calorie cutting alone so tell me what do you do for exercise/cardio that we don't hear about? :-) |

Okay. I'll play.
It's worth mentioning that I usually have one cheat meal a week - it usually falls on my WI day or the following day. 1: 302.4 2: 302.4 3: 302.0 4: 299.8 5: 298.0- WI day. Down 4.4 for the week. 6: 299.0 7: 299.8 8: 298.6 9: 297.4 10: 297.0 11: 296.8 12: 296.4 - WI day. Down 1.6. 13: 296.4 14: 296.8 15: 295.8 16: 293.8 (I fully expect this to be a false low - I have the flu and am dehydrated.) 17: 296.6 18: 298.0 I haven't really eaten much in 3 days and I've gained weight. Nice. 19: 297.0 - WI day. Up .4 20: 298.0 21: 298.0 22: 299.8 23: 298.6 24: 297.6 25: 296.2 26: 294.8 - WI day. Down 2.2. 27: 294.4 28: 296.6 |
Hello, ladies. Super busy today so just popping in.
Starbrite, CONGRATS on the 10s!! Quantum, thanks for the info! I think I'll hold out a while and then give it a shot. Diana, You just keep going down, it's so inspirational! I cheated last night at a party and most likely screwed up my whole thing for the next three or four days because that's what happens with Medifast :( 1: 274.8 2: 273.8 3: 275 4: 271.2 (-1.2) 5: 270.4 6: 270 7: 268.8 8: 267.8 9: 268.8 10: 268.2 11: 267.8 (-3.4)
11: 268 GRR :mad:
12: 269.4 |

Awesome, I have not heard of TF, but it's so working for you!! Is it a cardio/muscle routine type exercise or just cardio! how many days a week do you cardio? Thanks for amusing my curiousity! :D |
I think I did pretty well at the buffet tonight, I drank a tonne of water during dinner went for a 15 minute brisk walk with DS and the dog when we got back, and I'm having a big big cup of tea now. I'll hope for the same number as today and if I lose anything I will be ecstatic. I wanted to try to get moving more this week and I've made some baby steps -- 22 minutes on the treadmill one night; took the stairs at work one day; and the 15 minute walk tonight, plus housecleaning today. I know it's not alot but I've been very sedentary since my surgery, so it's a start.
Diana -- TTOM is changing for me as well...I seem to waver back and forth...if one cycle is lighter the next one tends to be heavier, but in general I do find them shorter in duration than they used to be. :carrot: Congratulations Twin Momma! :carrot: You look absolutely fantastic and should be very proud of yourself :) |
@twinmommaplusone
