Good Morning All! :grouphug:

Today is a great day! I am down .4 this morning to 211.6 (SOOOOOO close to a new decade!!!) Had a GREAT workout last night. I walked/jogged/incline walked for just under 4 miles! It took me almost an hour and I burned roughly 575 cals. :woohoo: Stayed 100% on plan yesterday and more importantly last night. The evening snacking STILL calls me! Not every night but some of them it calls me very LOUDLY! LOL I was happy to resist that last night. It was easy after the workout I had.

NSV for today: I feel like a HOT HOT HOT MAMA today!!!! I am in a pair of jeans that I deemed my "skinny" jeans. I haven't worn these in over 2 years. The best part is that the last time I wore these, they didn't feel NEARLY as good as they feel today!!! :cheer2: I am STOKED about that! Thanks for letting me share! I couldn't wait to get in and tell you guys!!! LOL



Ophelia: I am so happy you're here with us! It sounds like you have been doing some research on calorie counting and healthy living in general. That is great to hear! I am also very happy to see that you have chosen to calorie count. That is what I, and MANY others here, do. I LOVE IT!!!!! I love how in control of my weight loss it makes me feel! When I started out, I was at 1400 calories. I would suggest that you start at 1500 calories for now to get yourself situated with counting them and recording them. With all of the wonderful changes that you are already making (more water, less sugar, more veggies, etc) you are SURE to see a loss on the scale. I am really excited for you in this! In addition to this forum for weighing daily, many of us also belong an accountability forum where we post what we ate that day, our exercise, and things of that nature. The one piece of advice that I will give you that someone gave to me is to remember that losing weight is 80% diet and only 20% exercise. Once you get your eating in check, you will be unstoppable. A little of my backstory: When I started, I exercised like a mad woman. I lost some weight but then I injured myself and couldnt exercise. I rejoined 3FC in July 2010 and committed to getting healthy. I lost my first 20 lbs JUST by eating healthy. No exercise. Eating healthy and calorie counting is the way to go in my opinion. Surround yourself with it. Immerse yourself in it. Obssess over it if you need to. All I can say is it works. It really does work. :) OH! And don't worry about being long-winded here! We ALL are!!! :lol: Welcome again!! :hug:

Losingit: If there was Chinese in your recent past, there is now water weight in your present. I'm sure of that. :lol: Don't sweat that 2 lbs, it's just water and will be gone before you know it. Just stick to plan today and drink lots of water. You'll see. Hang in there. :) :hug:

1/31 227.0 Goal for FEB is to get out of the 220s!!!


1: 224.8 pushing to get OUT of the the 220s!!
2: 223.8 workout was sooooo hard lastnight but I guess it payed off
3. 222.4 so far this is a awesome week!

7. 223.4 up a little but no big deal I was pretty much on plan

Did a little test run last night with wine ... not a good idea. After one glass I was mysteriously able to rationalize two more glasses ... and pretzels. No wine for me :/

Bulleproof, I'm the same way. Drives me crazy that I'm usually lighter at noon if I weigh at 10 and go back to sleep.

Vixsin, WOOOO HOO for skinny jeans!!! I'm still holding onto a pair of American Eagle jeans from high school that I can't wait to get back into! They're ugly as heck (the "destroyed" style, enhanced and faded by entirely too much use) but symbolically I've always missed being able to wear them.

Quick post from me: down another 0.2 to 194.9 - I've finally lost that gain and back to where I started for the month! Kind of nervous about tonight, major campaign at work launches on Friday, I've been working my butt off as well as my entire team, so tonight we're going to do a pre-celebration because post-event will take so much time as well. There is sure to be lots of food and alcohol flowing. I will stay on plan and remain focused on portions! I've been chugging water all day to prepare for it.
