I weighed in today at 254!! (Thanks to having the flu for a week *sigh* which I would have much rather been 4 pounds higher and NOT had the flu. Really. )

ShylahEQ- Ugh! being sick is NO fun!! I was just sick last week..not a good feeling, but I lost lbs and they still havent came back hehe..Hope you get better soon!

Im sooo excited! We are going to Disneyland July 12-16!!! I booked our reservation yesterday and got an incredible deal!! I cant wait!! I want to lose about 20 lbs or so by then. Think thats do-able? I hope so! I dont want to wait in line for a ride, and then be too big to fit in the seat! I would cry!
Oh, weighed in today and its still 259.8. Had pizza last night Tomorrow is my offical WI day to. I shouldnt have had pizza!

Well I was 262 but am now 259. Next destination: 240 anything! I am adding more cardio and upping my weights and controlling my food intake. I had my birthday and my son's bday is on the same day! Ugh!!! So we had pizza and then the very next day is my girlfriend's bday! and the day after that is another friend's bday! And I have three people who say, let me take you out to eat for your bday!!! So what I am asking instead of allowing me to pig out for about four days or so, I am requesting that I go to my favorite low calorie restaurant: Boston Market. I want a turkey dinner with veggies as both sides, no bread or macaroni and maybe apples for dessert. I already know how many calories I am taking in from eating that. I have to get back on track and pigging out certainly will not do it! I hope you ladies do not mind if I join you.
up to 258.5 today. expected it, hydrated myself really well yesterday. Out of town for the weekend where there will be no scales. hope the damage is small
Well, I am officially in the 250s as of this mornings weigh-in! 259.4, to be exact. I'm so happy to be here and to find so many others at the same place I am. I look forward to being together in the 240's!
Weight 253.6 yesterday and 253 today. So close to the 240's. I sat at 238 for years without trying and am hoping to get back to that soon. The next natural weight I sat at for years was 218. I had a ton of energy yesterday so I played outside with my son. We went for a 20 minute walk and then played catch with the football.
My son was riding his bike and kept challenging me to keep up with him. He's 9 and adorable, btw. He was saying, "C'mon Mom, you can do it!! You wanted to lose weight! You're getting a work out now!!" I would speed up to a fast walk but didn't break into a jog. I really wanted to run! It was funny. I haven't felt like that in years!
He kept challenging me to run but I explained "I'm not wearing the right clothes for running." Meaning, my girls aren't in the proper harness and will hurt me if I run now, son.

Michelle98272- ROFL!! Too funny!! I have two kids. My son Cody is 13. Its sad cuz hes taller than me !! Amazing to see your kids get taller than you..Granted, im short, but still! My daugter Madi is 11 and she only has about 3 inches and shes taller than me! They are both spirited kids. They dont sit down and always wanna be doing things. We go hiking alot and spend alot of time outdoors. That reminds me that I have to plan our camping trips lol
Well I weighed in today at 258.8. I dont really understand weightloss. Ive been eating great. Granted, I did have pizza 2 nights ago, but I ate lower calories yesterday and drank all my water. Ive also been doing atleast 2 miles on the treadmill daily. I should have lost more weight..its such a bummer ..
I wish I could join you ladies, but I've still got a few lbs before I get back into the 250's. Hopefully soon, but by then, I hope to see you all moved on to a 240's thread! Good luck, ladies!
I spent all evening running up and down my in-laws very long driveway trying to teach my five year old to ride without training wheels. I stopped to make dinner and then did it all over again. And, that is after my date with the treadmill, going on a field trip with my 7 year old and then making a Wal-mart run. I-AM-TIRED. There is NO POSSIBLE WAY that I won't see a loss on the scale in the morning.
I must say that I feel amazingly proud that I was able to do what I did today. When I tried to teach my oldest daughter to ride, last year, it nearly killed me. I got hot and tired today, but it really felt good and I was able to keep going and going. Yay, ME!
On the down side, I forgot to put on sunblock today and got a bit of a burn on the field trip. I didn't realize it was happening until it was too late. DUH.
I stepped on the scale this morning and saw 252! Getting closer!
Purple-I know what you mean about not understanding weight loss. It is frustrating to do well and not see a "pay off". Remember though, this is about getting healthy too...not just the scale moving down. Keep doing the right things and you know eventually the scale will cooperate!
I went out dancing and went down to 250 totally from major dehydration then went back up the next day to 257.0 and have stayed at 257.0!!! lets hope it stays that way!
