By my count we have 3 weeks to go! ACK! Where did the time go??
Okay, how are we doing? Do we need to revise some goals? I know I am not doing as well as I'd like especially as I'll have a TOM coming up and I retain water like mad and never lose weight that week. It is sad when you can only figure on losing weight 3 out of 4 weeks
Revising my goal would probably be the smart thing to do but I think I need to give myself a serious kick in the rear and focus on my challenge. I can do it!!
I think I'm doing pretty good so far. I have 4.4 pounds to go, & I'm pretty sure I'll be able to accomplish that. I have weigh-in this Wednesday, & I'm really hoping to have lost 2 pounds this week (I've been really OP all week).
Wow, summer will be over before we know it! I just checked the summertime mini-goals thread and when that one started I weighed 264 and wanted to be 253 (60 pounds) by the end of August/Labor Day. I have lost 8 pounds this summer but still have 3 to go to make goal. 3 pounds in three weeks---I hope I make this one-I am really gonna try!

I am happy to report the old scale moved in the correct direction today! I am down another 1.5 pounds, so 1.5 more and I will be at my Labor Day goal!! Yahoo!!

PS--hey, what is our next goal date gonna be?? Halloween? that may be too far off! I guess we could just pick a day like October 1st or something. I will go along with whatever you all want to do. These goal things help keep me going!!
Hey guys!! I am happy to report that I made my Labor Day goal and have lost even more. My goal was 253 and now I am 251. It feels so good!! I have reduced my calories to about 1500 a day and it seems to be falling off! I was doing about 1800 and would lose fairly slow, so I lowered it and I cant believe it. I hope everyone does well while this site is down-it has been a great help to me. I will have to check out other diet pages this weekend I guess!!

For the rest of us we have 2 weeks to work on it.
TOM has struck me again. I was up 4 lbs this morning. I know it is water retention so I'm paying it no attention at all. Still it is not a nice thing to look at the scale and see a gain like that. That's okay though soon it'll be heading the other way.

at 249.5 so I will make my goal 246. Three and half pounds in two weeks should be do-able, but the old "time of the month" thing may mess it up, so we'll have to see...

Dyan - if your regular weigh-in day is Saturday then weigh-in on that day and post if as your challenge results. I weigh-in on Fridays so that is when I will be posting my results.
