Labour Day Challenge #3
By my count we have 3 weeks to go! ACK! :shrug: Where did the time go??
Okay, how are we doing? Do we need to revise some goals? I know I am not doing as well as I'd like especially as I'll have a TOM coming up and I retain water like mad and never lose weight that week. It is sad when you can only figure on losing weight 3 out of 4 weeks Revising my goal would probably be the smart thing to do but I think I need to give myself a serious kick in the rear and focus on my challenge. I think I'm doing pretty good so far. I have 4.4 pounds to go, & I'm pretty sure I'll be able to accomplish that. I have weigh-in this Wednesday, & I'm really hoping to have lost 2 pounds this week (I've been really OP all week). Hope everyone is having a great day! :D |

Wow, summer will be over before we know it! I just checked the summertime mini-goals thread and when that one started I weighed 264 and wanted to be 253 (60 pounds) by the end of August/Labor Day. I have lost 8 pounds this summer but still have 3 to go to make goal. 3 pounds in three weeks---I hope I make this one-I am really gonna try!

UPDATE!!
I am happy to report the old scale moved in the correct direction today! I am down another 1.5 pounds, so 1.5 more and I will be at my Labor Day goal!! Yahoo!! :smug:

Yahoo! Weighed in a bit ago and had a loss of 1.8 lbs for the past week. This takes me to 237.6 and just under my Labor Day Goal of 238.
I hope it stays down by next week. In the meantime, I'm going to go for my secondary goal of 235 since I still have some time left. Start 250 Start challenge 243 Current 237.6 (5% of total wt is gone) Next goal 235 |

Anagram-A BIG congrats to you!! Making under goal--and early, and working on the next one is fabulous!! :D I have lost another pound so I am now just 1/2 pound away from my goal!!:) :) :) laura 313//253.5//253 labor day goal--->60 pounds!! :cool: PS--hey, what is our next goal date gonna be?? Hey guys!! I am happy to report that I made my Labor Day goal and have lost even more. My goal was 253 and now I am 251. It feels so good!! I have reduced my calories to about 1500 a day and it seems to be falling off! I was doing about 1800 and would lose fairly slow, so I lowered it and I cant believe it. I hope everyone does well while this site is down-it has been a great help to me. I will have to check out other diet pages this weekend I guess!!

to all those who have made their Labour Day goal. Way to go! :cb: :dance: :hat: :cp: :dancer: :flame: For the rest of us we have 2 weeks to work on it. TOM has struck me again. I was up 4 lbs this morning. I know it is water retention so I'm paying it no attention at all. Still it is not a nice thing to look at the scale and see a gain like that. That's okay though soon it'll be heading the other way.:D |
For Labor day......
Are we weighing in on Labor day, or is it for that week. i.e. Labor day is on Monday, but you weigh in on Tuesday, do we count our weight on Tuesday? I weigh in on Saturday. So would wait until Saturday of that week, that Saturday before, or that Monday? |

Good luck to everyone still working on their goal. You can do it and will feel great once you reach it!! I think I will work on a new goal just for fun, and if I dont make it-so what?? ;) I am currently at 249.5 so I will make my goal 246. Three and half pounds in two weeks should be do-able, but the old "time of the month" thing may mess it up, so we'll have to see... laura 313//249.5//246 new and improved goal! (67 pounds) |
Dyan - if your regular weigh-in day is Saturday then weigh-in on that day and post if as your challenge results. I weigh-in on Fridays so that is when I will be posting my results.
