I will stay on plan this month because I was on the phone today with an RCMP recruiter, who informed me she is moving me on to the next stage of the application process! Now I have to prepare for not only the interview, but also the Physical Abilities Requirement Evaluation (PARE), which is like an obstacle course used to test your physical fitness. I gotta keep exercising now!

I've been in the 100lb Club, 300+ Club, 30-Somethings (now I'm 40-something), Alternachicks, Chicks up for a Challenge. I have Type 2 Diabetes, have been on meds for depression, struggled with binge eating and exercise motivation. I've been a calorie counter & a carb counter. I've been here off and on since August 2007.

Hey, Ookpik! Congratulations on moving forward with the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police?) application --- that's a GREAT reason to be on plan. Good luck with the whole process!
