Aw shucks, thanks everyone for your kind thoughts!

Runundefined - just a little encouragement for you in particular - when I started running last October, I could barely make it down one block, but now I am a half-marathoner - so if I can do it, you can too! If you're looking for a good program to follow to ease yourself into running, I highly recommend the couch-to-5k program on coolrunning.com. That's what I did, and many other folks around here, and it's a great way to build up your endurance slowly, but surely.

And Janny-O - after 101 pounds, believe me - there's nothing in my closet that isn't a new outfit at this point! (but I did treat myself to a couple of new pairs of shoes today at DSW - a gal can't resist)
