Angry

I started WW at 189 (5 weeks post partum) and have lost almost 16 pounds in 4 weeks. I'm sure breastfeeding is helping out a bit! Every week it's good to be down, even if it's a fraction of a pound... at least it's going in the right direction!!

Hi Diana ~

No ...Dr Phil actually said, "Weight Watcher's DOES NOT work!" ...I've emailed him to let him know that it DOES WORK, and that I'd like him to get Sara (the Dutchess) on his show and invite me! Wouldn't THAT a hoot?? I think she and I could be 'best friends'!

I'm under my Drs goal by 15 pounds, and am heading to my WW goal ...12 more to go ...I've been lifetime since April of last year (when I reached my Drs goal)...these last few are r e a l l y s l o w coming off, but I WILL do it!

Thank you so much for your compliment! That's what keeps me going.

How can Dr. Phil say that? There are a heck of alot more people doing WW than his diet plan, I bet! He needs to sit back and realize how many people have succeeded on WW. Every diet works, you just need a plan you can stick too!

Well I guess according to doctor Phil, I still weigh over 240lbs since WW doesn't work . Wow I cannot believe he said that... Basically most diets work to some degree (some not very well, some are ultra dangerous, some are just ridiculous), it's whether or not that they're maintanable for life that's the key and WW is maintainable for life.

Cheers!

Ali

Hello everyone! I've been on and off WW in the past probably about 3 other times. This is my first time that I've been successful taking it off without going to the meetings. After having my youngest DD in 1998, I joined WW and lost 58 lbs. in 7 mths. Then I gained most of it back and tried to join again but wasn't into it, so quit. Then in 2001, I re-joined and lost 23 lbs. in a few mths., but then quit and gained it all back again (can you see a pattern here??!!) I got sick with a serious muscle disease and several blood clots in Nov./01 and gained about 40 lbs. in 3 mths. time, due to the steroids that I had to take (Prednisone). I just lowered my doseage a few mths. ago to where I could start losing again, so decided to do WW on my own and have lost 21 lbs. since the 12 of Jan. It DOES work!! I love the flexibility of WW. I also joined Curves for Women and eDiets and now the 3FC, but it just all seems to work for me.

Just started WW at home last week...and down 8lbs already. I'm a little concerned about the fast weight loss but I'm eating right in my point range, drinking lots, and walking daily...maybe my body was ready this time around....????
