Im at 155!! this is a milestone for me since its 10 pounds from goal!! I know we ***** and groan about our slow progress but looking back over the last 1year and 3 months I've been on this journey, I've accomplished alot:
1. Loss 94 pounds
2. Loss around 54 inches
3. Establish great exercise and eating habits while still being able to enjoy life
So take the time to celebrate small milestones. Really looking forward to 149 - a 100 pound loss. However, I'm SO excited right now.
Hi everyone,
I'm back in the 150's. I gained 14 lbs this summer, and got all the way up to 160.8 before I snapped back into reality and got back on the wagon.
I'm currently at 157.6 lbs.
CleverName Sorry that you are back! You are not alone. I went from 149 to 164 this summer, so I am back as well. I am really hoping that this will be my last time back at the 150's thread. I am wishing you luck, we can do this!!!
Fresh Feeling Welcome to the 150's!
rubidoux Congrats!

As for me, I knew I would be higher today. We had planned dinner outing to a Mexican restaurant. We ended up eating REALLY late. I stayed within my calories, but ate till I was stuffed -- Scale was actually "kind" to me with only less than a pound gain.
Hello fellow 150ers! I've been maintaining at around 158 for a few weeks. The other day I made a mistake by eating broccoli cheese soup - I forgot that kind of soup is usually thickened with flour, which I absolutely must avoid. I got very sick and massively bloated (to the tune of going up about 3 US pant sizes). Another unfortunate side effect was that I felt inclined to binging later on, and ate much more than I should have. However, I wasn't particularly hungry yesterday or today, so I think the calories are evening out. The bloat is finally going away now and I feel mostly better, but I was still up a bit on the scale this morning at 159.
I would like to start losing again soon, but we'll see how things go. Weight loss takes the back burner when there are other things requiring my time and effort. Still, I am successfully maintaining as I navigate a totally new environment. I'm quite proud of myself for that, particularly considering 1) it's been a very stressful first 5 weeks at college and 2) the dining halls, while offering some healthy choices, are hardly the picture of good, healthy food. I feel I've managed well so far (negating a few small overindulgences with the frozen yogurt sundae bar), but I do miss being able to make my own food.
Still, I'm really beginning to appreciate how far I've come now that I've had some time to adjust to my new body! Like this morning, putting on my belt, I remembered how I used to only be able to fit the first or second hole...I'm now on the seventh to eighth, and the extra wraps across my waist to the back side of my hip. Wow!

Sum Yep, gluten intolerant. :/ I feel your pain. It's been 6+ months now since I went gluten-free (with only a few slip-ups), so I'm pretty used to it by now, but it's certainly not an easy or fun diet restriction to have. Congrats on the whoosh!
Chronostasis For me it has been a few years. At first I substituted bread for cheese and gained weight like mad...lol Now I am used to living without gluten and I don't even miss it.
It's funny how 149 is such a milestone and then we all jump back up for a good, long time. I saw 149 in June or July, for a day or two. Hope to be back soon!
