can't believe this thread is still going! i love it!!
things i still can't eat: lima beans, creamed corn (i can't even look at it), raw celery and carrots, cooked tomato, and the number one will always be bell peppers. i can do yellow and orange- but red and green taste like bitter butt to me and it takes over everything.
the other thing i have a problem with is certain herbs- i cannot tolerate cilantro not even a little bit. it tastes so awful to me. fennel/fennel seeds, anise, caraway- anything in that licorice-y flavor i just hate. and ginger, powdered, fresh, pickled, candy- all forms of it. bleck.
Lima Beans were always gross to me. That said, I haven't tired them in probably ten years. Maybe more. Other than that I LOVE LOVE LOOOOVE all veggies. I prefer veggies over fruit any day.
i hate brocolli because my mum made me some one night and there was a caterpillar in it! i nearly cried i felt so sorry for the poor caterpillar so now i cant eat brocolli. i also hate green peppers, and only eat other coloured peppers raw. and i must be the only person in the world that actually likes boiled brussel sprouts!
green peppers. asparagus.
surprisingly, I got turned on to kale, rhubarb, and brussels sprouts last year. Still not a varied enough palate to be a food critic!
I just CANNOT get with Asparagus...gross....found out i can do artichoke though...i just don't like HARD food and asparagus is so tough the way i've had it...sucks that the rawer the better...
