Such a bad weekend - I felt sick and I was away from home so I didn't have any of the on-plan things I might have turned to... I didn't go into binge mode, but definitely a bit off plan. I feel puffy and "foggy" and just overall gross after too many carbs. Oh well. Back on plan.
I have an abundance of chayote, zucchini, tomatoes, broccoli, red leaf lettuce and kale right now! I am probably going to just alternate variations of these two menus until much of those veggies are consumed.
TODAY Phase 1, alternative products
B - HealthSmart oatmeal, baked chayote "apples"
L - ProtiDiet chili with peppers added, side free green salad with WF Italian dressing
D - Zucchini noodles with veggie meatballs and marinara sauce, side of garlicky kale
S - Quest bar or shake?
TOMORROW Phase 1, alternative products
B - Kale omelet (1 whole egg + 3 whites, 1 c. chopped kale)
L - HealthSmart spaghetti bolognese (unrestricted now) with 1 c. peppers & mushrooms added, side free green salad with WF Italian dressing
D - Tofu and broccoli (1.5 c.) stirfry with WF Sesame Ginger, 0.5 c. sliced farmer's market tomato
S - Quest bar or shake?
B - Wegmans Vanilla protein pancake, wf syrup, black coffee
S - 3 celery stalks (upping the fiber / bulk)
L - 1C Rutabaga / 4oz pork loin
D - 6oz lamb, 2C brussel sprouts - willing to 'pay the price' for an extra cup of restricted veggie this week...the brussel sprouts were so beautiful this week!
S - Proti-thin cafe caramel pudding, Twinnings decaf Chai
Hi frawniemae, i see you're eating SF gelatin too! How are you making yours? I use one pack of Knox, 2 cups of herbal (fruity) tea a a few tsp of Splenda, love having a light, free dessert after my afternoon IP.

S: fennel soup (in chicken broth)
D: 8oz roast beef and cabbage
2nd S: IP chocolate pudding
Fought the flu and still lost 4lbs this week!
