Default Only 2nd posting-just introduced myself this morning on the newbie thread

RaggeRN- for lowest carb shakes, get the IP pudding packets and make into a shake. I make a double batch in the blender some mornings and save half for lunch, which thickens up nicely by then. Lots of combos: IP vanilla pudding with pumpkin pie spice and/or sf pumpkin pie syrup; IP cappacino + IP choc pudding + coffee (double serving)... Lots of ideas on the recipe stickies.

Family had burgers for dinner and I had the Big Mac salad. Forgot that it's pretty good, especially with extra pickles and raw onions.

Default day 1

Well day 1 is about over. I was pretty hungry most of the day. I split my salad and soup for lunch by 2 hrs because i was hungry early, and was famished by 430. I went to the grocery store and thought "i can just buy a small chicken thigh from the deli and then decrease my protein at supper. Well i automatically grabbed the fried chicken(old habits are hard to die, i guess). I was pretty much done with it(actually inhaled it i was so hungry) when it dawned on me there is carbs in this! I feel like i wasted my day!! I guess we will see what happens....

Default WF Chocolate Dip

Does anyone have any tips or recipes for using the WF Chocolate Dip? My husband bought me some today (since he knew I was craving chocolate with all the sweets laying around) but I tried a taste and wasn't too thrilled with it. But I want to use it somehow. Please share any ideas!

I use small medicine or Jell-O shot cups. Freeze a layer of chocolate syrup, then freeze a layer of Carmel syrup and then another of chocolate. It's like a frozen rolo bar. All u need is one when u crave chocolate

I also add it to my shakes. Makes it a little more chocolatey.

Thank you! Does that work with the chocolate dip or the sauce? This is the dip that I'm talking about.

Good (very early) morning!

I feel like I wake up at the crack of dawn on my days off, but when my alarm goes off on days I work I struggle to get out of bed lately.

My parents are still here visiting and we are having a few family friends over for NYE. It should be a pretty quiet night.

Hope everyone has a wonderful New Year and is able to avoid anything that's not OP.

I have to weigh in for the NYE challenge so I will post my final results once I'm not too comfortable to get out of bed.

Hang in there Lindalou-you'll get the hang of it! The first few days really are the hardest while you adjust. As far as the chicken thigh - drink lots of water and don't let one slip turn into a big one, back OP with the next bite.

It really helps if you plan in advance for your food and carry spare packets with you (I keep them everywhere including my purse, car, desk, dh's car, etc.).

The first few days you can have an extra non-restricted packet if you need it to help with the hunger. Also, try eating lots of lettuce or a couple of hard boiled egg whites or a dill pickle spear. I find hot decaf tea helps me feel fuller too - something about hot drinks just makes you feel less hungry.

It really is a habit you have to get into - thinking about everything you put in your mouth. But really, you'll do great!

Is anyone who's working out while on IP do light weights for toning? The ole bat wings are starting to make me a bit unhappy. Looking for suggestions on what to do about them.
