It was kind of nice to move up in the standings without even playing a game.

I'm a little worried about playing the Phillies and the Cubs for the next 2 series. It could be a little tough on the Rockies.

Opposite for us Diane. Day off yesterday and we're tied again.

You can get to the Cubs I hope. Phillies are tough at the moment.

We have 2 against the Mets, where's Razz?

Clydegirl... I'm glad Lugo is doing well... I hope it continues... well until late Sept or so... lol...

Bill..that game was weird... I was afraid to shut it off... thinking back to the 10-1 lead that turned nightmarish last month...

We are playing Tampa tonight only 2 games, (I'm hoping for a cowbell-free evening )...then on to New York for 4, lovely... though we have played them 9 times and won all of them... I hope I don't regret saying that... lol

Those were some wild games yesterday, with some wild scores. I didn't see the sports news last night, so I looked to see the scores this morning. Strange stuff, big scores and extra innings. The Rockies won, so that was good!!!

I am here!! Been busy haven't been checking in here much lately.

'Twas an interesting series with the Cards. Rough loss for us last night (Pujols is incredible), the W today was much needed. Our season is pretty much over though falling way behind everyone now.

The injuries are completely insane, I've never seen anything like it. Yesterday our 2b, who is only one of our 2 regulars to not miss extended time this yr got hurt falling down the stairs of the dugout. And then today barely into the 2nd inning our young pitcher who was called up to replace one our other pitchers who got hurt who had been replacing another pitcher who got hurt, gets hurt himself and had to be helped off the field. And then later in the game our LFer Sheffield gets hurt again. I swear this team is cursed.

Hmmm lost a heart breaker last night to the Rays ... hmmm losing again tonight... but we can turn it around tonight... that's my story and I'm sticking to it... C'mon YOUK..... our BP is very tired...
