How are we doing, everybody? I'll look at prior posts after I write this, but just wanted to say I've missed you guys. This may be the best time of year, but it's surely the hardest - for me, at least - to keep my weight down during the holidays.
BUT...because of my grandson and new grandpuppy being here for Thanksgiving, I don't know if I even gained. Grandson was always lifting his arms up for me to pick him up, and that was so wonderful. He just started walking, so it was a thrill to have him walk up to me with arms up! And the grandpuppy loved to play ball and frisbee, so many, many large muscle movements later, I'm at 110.2, which is probably mostly a food baby. Yay!
I see happy progressage for a lot of people - congrats! I think we're doing pretty well considering we are surrounded by delicious food! I keep thinking that I could clear out the stuffed fridge by eating and/or drinking this and that (who bought the blueberry lemonade, and do we really want to waste that last 2/3 cup??). But food CAN be thrown away, if you don't want it around calling your name. It's probably just a few pennies worth of flour/sugar/water/fat. Put it down the drain or in the trash if you don't want to be tempted.

Unofficial weigh-in: 11/22: 108.3; next week's goal - 108.2
Not a lot of weighing or recording this week! Scales put away so grandchild wouldn't interface with them.
Friday, November 27: 110.2
Saturday, November 28: 111.2 ACK! Didn't think I would go up today. Not looking good for making weight tomorrow. No worries, though. I'm fasting today, so I can add today's 1200 calories to Sunday's usual 2400. Par-tay!
Now to go have some chicken broth and my free greens for the day.
