Thanks, WebWoman! I'm pretty sure that my weight loss will slow down quite a bit, soon. I think that my body is just using up my glycogen stores which are causing me to shed a lot of water weight rapidly. I just started working out/making healthy meal choices on February 1st, after all.
My husband and I are following my own more intuitive, veggie intense diet plan with nothing prepackaged except for an occasional Larabar. We are also calorie counting. Sort of. I approximate my calories based on what I know, rather than weighing food. I know that this approach doesn't work for most people, but I seem to have a good handle on estimating calories.
I aim for approximately 1200 calories/day. I've been focusing on cardio workouts 6x/week and will continue to do so for the next 7 weeks or so... Then I'll start doing strength training again. I've cut down my alcohol intake to two glasses of wine per week, have cut out soda... I'm mostly drinking water and tea, with a cup of coffee in the morning. Sometimes I have a bit of juice largely watered down by sparkling mineral water.
Everyone's body is different. This approach just seems to really work for me and my DH. You seem like you're doing great! I can't wait to get down to the 170s (and beyond)!

Same here K9Owner. Like I am trying to eat healthy or count calories, but like I have been unable to eat until the night most if the week. I like need to plan my weekly and daily eatting.
Thanks guys! This morning I planned to be good....and then I forgot my lunch bag on the counter. But I still did well. I went to the dollar store next to my work and bought a protein bar and a cheese stick. Not ideal but considering I spent a good chunk of time walking the aisles looking at boxes of cookies and bags of chips while thinking screw it, I think I did okay.

Today is a lazy day. It's been a stressful week starting my new job. It's great and I love it, but it's been a lot of learning so I'm just relaxing today. I'm very tempted to boredom binge but I'm reminding myself the difference between feeling hungry and feeling munchy.

Shot myself in the foot there with my cheat meal. I'm sure it can't be a fat gain as even with the cheat meal I was still under my maintenance for the day by at least 250 calories. Darnit, sodium!

Really regretting having had the cheat on friday now. I feel like my body is still punishing me despite that I was still under maintenance with the cheat meal, and that i tried to make good choices and not just reach for a greasy takeaway! Why so mean, body: I have been perfect since, so hopefully it'll start to drop again soon. Makes me so irritable! I shall drink 50 whole waters!!
