I'm adding the next three strategies at once because they all feel related to me (and, apparently, I'm impatient).
May goal: work through 1st part of The Diet Trap Solution
Foundation Strategies I'm practicing daily (adding one every 3 or 4 days):
1. Read my list of advantages of losing weight
2. Eat slowly while seated
3. Give myself credit during the day
4. Read my response cards (tips, tricks, and talk-backs to sabotaging thoughts)
5. Weigh Daily (see below)
6. Build "resistance muscle"
7. Manage hunger and cravings
8. Eat according to a schedule
Just was to say "hi!" to everyone. I'm lurking. I started back at Weight Watchers today. I will post a goal starting in June...but will keep checking back. Glad to see so many familiar "faces"!
Keli, thank you! It's so good to be back! And I couldn't agree with you more about 3fc. Maybe I will gain now and again, but I went hog wild when I left. I ate like it was my job, and I know 3fc will cause me to hold myself more accountable than that. Good to see you and good job on the drop! Crow: we still have lots of time left, so just do your best! Synderella, yay on the drop!
I thought for sure I would gain today with all the salty nuts I ate yesterday, but I remained the same!
Pollifaxfive ~ I sure hope you feel better soon. Sending good vibes your way.
Crow ~ Good for you! All we can do is give it our all. Good luck!
boatingmommy ~ Glad to have you back. How have you been?
Jacqui ~ You are killing it with these steady losses.
Well chicks, the scale finally saw some movement in the way of 2 pounds. Well folks, I gotta go make some money, so I will check back in later. Keep those losses coming!
Oh my, scale was up quite a bit this morning. Then I checked my "period tracker" app...yep, that explains the weight and the tiredness! Not even going to write it down for yall. LOL
This new work out routine at the new gym is kickin my butt but man it's paying off already. I got on the scale today and i've lost 3 pounds! I will be out of the 300's easy before the end of the month.
Current weight: 302! Yippie!

May Goal: GET OUT OF THE 300'S AND NEVER GO BACK. GET INTO THE 200'S AND MAKE A DENT!
Affirmation: I am NOT defined by my weight but by who I am on the inside and how I CHOSE to live my life. Healthy!
Something's clicked with me over the past few days, and I'm finally in the right mindset to do this properly instead of driving myself nuts by half-assing it and failing. Even though half the month is over I'm working hard towards my goal.
boatingmommy, great to have you back!
Jacqui_D, you're making fantastic progress. I find exactly the same thing; if I step away from 3FC, I gain at the speed of light. I need to weigh every day and log on here every day to keep myself accountable.
nonameslob, at least you can look forward to the whoosh afterwards.
JenDestiny, you're so close! I'll be watching to see you slide out of those 300lbs any day now.
Thank you everyone for the nice welcome back. I did my first weigh in this morning. 171.8. So sad that this time last year I weighed 153ish. Now my reflux is bothering me again and my body feels tired and aches....good reasons to get this weight back off. Oh well, back to the old drawing board.
boatingmommy: thanks for checking in! Glad to know you're still with us.

Delphi, 2 lbs is fantastic!! Great job! Noname, hang in there! You got this! Turtle, hoping your scale makes up its mind soon! : JenDestiny: Yay! You're doing so great! Crow, thanks! And I love your new resolve! You can do it! AngelOH, Congrats on your loss! Happy Upcoming Birthday to your daughter! Have a good time and then just get right back on plan! Keli, congrats on the new low! Woohoo! Boatingmommy, look at it this way: You have a big head start on when you started at 184! I started over 9 lbs heavier than last time and I'm still just trying to get where I was to begin with! You are more than 12 lbs ahead! That's 12.2 lbs you don't have to mess with! Joy, looks like your scale is headed back down!
