Sue I know that you try to drink alot of water, we learned about Osmotic thirst in Neuroscience- when you have too much salt in your blood stream your body signals thirst and water retention to bring your body back to the proper balance. Well the reverse is true, when you have enough water to imbalance your levels your body will make you crave salt. To me it sounds like you may swinging between the two extremes.

Happy Veteran's Day, everyone! My father, who is 92, was in the U.S. Marine Corps for 30 years, and fought in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. He still lives down South, where I grew up, and I talk to him every week, but it's always kind of special on Veteran's Day. He's an amazing man!
I weigh 181 today, a normal fluctuation. I'm kind of relieved by that!

Funny (more like awkward) thing happened today. So, I was having a conversation with a co-worker and we were talking about calorie counting. She always makes fun of how she like the anti-me (no exercise, junkfood always, etc). To be honest, she's about 5'10 and 145 lbs. So as I started to tell her that I'd joined 3FC, and I'm really monitoring my calories, my other co-worker says, "you count calories?" The way she said it was like I'd said I was starving myself. I didn't even bother to go further into the conversation about how healthier choices have a lot fewer calories than junk and fast food. It just reminds me how the scales are completely flipped. At any rate, I'm sure it won't be the last time that happens.

Pnkrckpixikat - I've been repeating the same thing to myself today. "Just be prepared. It's not the end of the week". Congrats on your downward trend.
Cincorn - That's a great idea, cleaning out your closet. I hope I'll get up the courage to do the same, when I begin to drop sizes. Part of me is hesitant, b/c I'd hate to have to repurchase if I jump back up after a few months. Hope you pick up something nice.

Back from a long weekend of family fun. Only up 1 pound, which will probably come off in the next day or two as I am sure it is from the couple of beers and not the food. I was really in control for most of the weekend...but I did splurge on a piece of pecan pie. YUMMY!!!
