My official chip time is 3hrs 0min 40sec. Considering I started thinking that it might take me up to 3 and 1/2 hours, that is a pretty great time!
Ksquared - You are right!

Congrats, you sure have come a long way.
Josey : I hope you enjoy your new bike, also i did get a loofah sponge, i don't think my face has ever been cleaner after i used it, don't know if it will help but...
rmc9142 : You put up some pretty impressive mileage every week, i hear you on the slow down.
Chickadee : Dropping the hammer like usual, i knew you would see some nice drops as your routine was resumed, just because you stayed even.
JoyfulVegGirl : I'm sorry your leg is affecting your exercise, hoping it starts feeling better, just don't let it be a crutch or excuse, i have worked through so much pain and soreness this last 2 years it's almost always not as bad as my mind tries to make it.
kitkatt : Don't know if i've ever just said hi to you, so hi,
i'm glad you seem to be hanging around and in it to win it.
Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes, ( 42 now if anyone was wondering )ugh... So i went and did the 12 mile hike today, it was 34 c out... pretty hot for september here, actually saw some buffalo today, not a whole lot else as far as wildlife, need to do my weights here in a bit but right now i'm relaxing with some rye and diet coke.
Something different, a few pics from today to break up the monotonousness of my usual posts.
Sorry if this is to off topic.
Don't usually get to see the Buffalo, they are usually up in the hills hiding. Hard to see still.
This is the flats (marsh ) it's pretty dry right now, these are swans, in a coup;le of weeks there will literally be thousands of geese and swans, gulls, pelicans etc... flocked together here prepping for their long flight south.
Walking through some of the brush, nice to get some shade today.
Ate lunch here at the old homestead, there is a fresh water spring down there, i climbed this hill afterwards to get a better look around, this is fairly old, obviously the barn has not faired as well over time.
Had a little rest on this fallen tree by the river ouyt of the sun, this is also close to where i found my turtle last year, lots of fish, some kids said they caught about 70 today ( jack fish ), also lots of blue herons around.
Just a curiosity here, a sinkhole has formed taking out a chunk of the trail.
Heres about the best picture i got of a blue heron, it's a large bird and kind of odd looking, they typically take flight the moment they see a human ( hard to capture).
