Talking Need a competitor! Looking for people who want to stay OP and lose max weight by Oct!

Hi all!

Come join in and let's "git R done!"

I'm hoping to be well into onderland by October 7th. That's two months. Any one else have a specific goal they would like to reach in the next couple months? Please join in for support, accountability, and a little friendly competition

Weigh in's are on Sunday, so I'll start. I weighed 210 this AM and would like to be 190-195 by Oct 7th. I'm going to a wedding in mid September and having professional family portrait taken at the end of Sept and I want to look GOOD!

I think I'd like to be at goal, at 125 pounds. That's just over 2 pounds a week, so shouldn't be too bad. My one year anniversary with my boyfriend is on the 11th, so it'd be nice to look my best for that!

I'm in! I'll post my weight later today or tomorrow at the latest. I don't keep a scale at my house because it's counterproductive for me (I get too caught up in fluctuations!) so I'll go weigh in and let you know! My goal for October 7th is 212. TOM right now so fingers crossed that I've at least maintained this week!!

Yeah Osaunt!! Thanks for starting this!

Starting at 203.6 today! It's so crazy, but by the end of this challenge I'll have moved from Ca to Texas, hubby will have graduated, I'll be through 2 classes toward my degree and I'll be finished with the C25k program, hopefully into the bridge to 10k program!!!

OK, I'm in. I just started a 90 challenge. So today I'm 264 and I'd like to lose 10 a month for my 90 day, so I guess Oct would be 60 days for 20 pounds, right?

Start: 08/07/2011 264
Goal: 10/07/2011 244

Oh! And 10/7 is my daughter's birthday too!

If I continue to lose steadily, I should reach 225 by October 7- that's nearly to 15% gone!

Okay, TOM has me retaining lots of water, so I maintained at 227. Again, my goal for October 7th is 212. 15 lbs is a good goal for me.

I wanna hop on the bandwagon too! I think the more challenges I do the more itll push me. Were talking about vacation trips at work today for next summer and I wanna look killer then.

My goal for october is gonna be 20lbs but my STRETCH goal is going to be 30.

I started the c25k today so I hope I'll be close to done with that also.

Hey PacSunMama, glad you found the new thread, hopefully LeanLisa will join us when she gets back from her honeymoon. I'm planning to start the C25K this week, any general advice or apps that you would recommend? I can't believe all you have going on in the next couple of months.WOW

O I think it's mostly mental after week 2. Granted I've now repeated each week once and so I'm on week 4 this week. Haha. But you have to trust that after doing 3-4 workouts it will start getting easier.
