Clothes not fitting, and I'm tired of feeling self conscious. Can't afford to buy another size up.

What do you struggle with the most on this journey to health? Feeling unmotivated. I sometimes resent the pressure to look a certain way (age has mellowed me-when I was younger, I would use the phrase '**** your fascist beauty standards'). I find great comfort in eating and I feel anxious when I can't snack.

What are three things in the area of diet/exercise you need to improve?
More consistent exercise. Less snacking

(Evil motivation ) Who do you want to look better than? Truthfully, it's hard to see myself looking better than anyone. I have pretty good looking friends. I guess I want to look better than my sister in law.

What was the "trigger" or incident that made you decide it was time to lose weight and become more fit? watching the scale go up for the last 7 years. But right this moment, was realizing my jeans were getting tight and I couldnt bear to go to the store to buy size 20.

What do you struggle with the most on this journey to health? I put myself down way to easy and I give up incredibly fast when something doesnt go my way.

What are three things in the area of diet/exercise you need to improve? Mindless eating, actually doing the exercises and not making excuses, planning my meals ahead of time.

I can not wait to wear some of my old clothes. but my favourite thing to wear would be my size 7 jeans again. I bought brand new jeans and hadn't even gotten to wear them (it was summer and too hot) and when I could wear them I had gained already and they didn't fit.

What was the "trigger" or incident that made you decide it was time to lose weight and become more fit? I'm just so tired of being so lumpy and embarrassed of myself. I look like the damn Michelin Man and I want to be smooth, hot and smexy. And I want the outer me to match the inner me.

What do you struggle with the most on this journey to health? My diet. I've found a great group of women to work out with so I don't feel so alone in this. But I've watched the other women transform their bodies over the past 4 months and I look the same. While I can exercise, my diet has been atrocious and so I haven't lost any weight. It's HARD for me not to eat. Because when I'm not eating I'm more aware of how disappointed I am with myself and my life and I become anxious and angry. Also, I can't actually visualize myself at my target weight. I know that focusing on the goal is a big part of motivating yourself, but I honestly can't picture myself at that weight. Last time I was 160 lbs I was 13 years old. How am I supposed to imagine myself as a grown woman at that weight?

What are three things in the area of diet/exercise you need to improve?
Eat way more vegetables, drink way more water, add more cardio.

(Evil motivation ) Who do you want to look better than? I want to look better than Beyonce, Shakira and Jennifer Lopez combined!!!

OMG, A TENNIS DRESS. I don't even like tennis. I have no interest in playing tennis. But, oh do I want to wear a tennis dress with... get this, the NY Yankees symbol on it. And I don't even like baseball! That and of course swimwear.

Trigger: My friend slipped and said she was hotter than me. For the past five years I have let myself go due to depression, pregnancy and fertility treatments. I even booked WLS and I have decided to cancel it and try on my own first!
Struggles? Over eatting, eating out and mayo.
