Everyone looks to be going in the right direction (Whew). I am going to keep track toooooo of eating on plan days. Those carbs are still calling me and I have to STOP!

True Confession: ending the month at 176 today.....ate off plan but I caught myself......logged every bad thing in myfitnesspal so I know exactly where I have been and where I need to go!! Back on track and moving in the right direction!! This journey requires persistence!!

Hi everyone!

I've been away for a while and am not sure how much I'll be around but I'm starting to try to work a few minutes of online time back into my routine (although I rather liked the time away, actually).

My life is good, I started exercising last month (yeah me, I'd been resisting that for a YEAR!). I'm back on track with low carb, fiddling around with how much protein to eat, and was a little disappointed that I didn't lose as much as I thought I should last month, so have a plan in place for more rigorous tracking in hopes that will make things work better. I'm not weighing daily anymore (and glad I was able to let that go).

Because of the exercise I'm not setting weight goals right now (I'm more concerned with development of muscle and cardiac capacity) but I'd really like the jeans I've worn for 2 months to get too-big by the end of the month. And I am weighing in on Mondays, and do expect some progress but I just don't know How much is reasonable to expect.

Hope all of you are well and will try to read back a few pages to see if there are any major life events I've missed (or just let me know in a reply!)

Hello Sarah!!! So awesome to see you post!!!!! Been hovering in the 170s and trying to refocus to get to my goal!! Exercising really helps me clear my mind and like I've said before easiest hour of the day for food choices because I don't have to make any while I'm walking!!!

I did fairly well last week, I was kind of resisting exercise but forced myself to go anyway and although I didn't push myself I at least got something done. And it made me re-think my exercise time, and I decided to start the weight circuit at my gym and cut my cardio time back considerably to find the time for both - which in turn has made my cardio more focused and intense (and less boring) while hopefully building some lean body mass (my upper body weakness is ridiculous even though I carry around 2 toddlers most of the day!)

Logging food, which I still dislike, is still the most effective focusing technique I know... Which is good to know that this hack still works, although annoying to think that it's what I need to keep doing!

It's nice to see you all keeping on, just like me. It would be great for us all to get back to those Spring low weights we all shared a few months ago!

I survived the weekend and the premiere of the Walking Dead!! For the first time in a long time I am headed in the right direction! I got control of my choices and am employing tried and true techniques to curb unrestrained eating...like broth and tea!! I almost floated away in tea this weekend but I can feel and see that the bloat is gone!!

Sue - You got this!!
Jessie - Rock on!! Good for you with being persistent....it's a continuous journey!!
Sarah - I'm coming up on a year of continuously logging my food. My son told me months ago - "Mom you can eat it as long as you log it!" I don't know why but that clicked for me...I can always see why I'm up or down based on my eating pattern. I have never kept my weight off this long...true confession!

Fighting a cold so I haven't walked in 3 days...coughing all night long...ugh!!
